At the presentation ceremony, Jonathan Van Lange was awarded most runs with 186 runs, Matthew Pottoya had the most wickets 7 while wicketkeeper batsman Vickash Wilkinson earned theMVPtrophywithatotal of168runsand6dismissals withthegloves
As the Tobago Open 2023 tees off today, the Lusignan Golf Club will be represented by four of their seasoned players at the Tobago Plantations Golf Course,Magdalena,Tobago. These players are Pope Emmanuel London, Hardeo Ghanpat,RackeshHarryand Shanella London The tournament will run until July16,2023.
The format of the tournament for the men will beBetterBall,whilethelone female format will be Stableford The LGC contingentwillbecompeting in the following categories: Championship 5 0 and Lower,1stFlight5.1to10.0, 2nd Flight 10.1 to 17.5, 3rd Flight 17 6 and over andLadiesAnyHandicap.

P o p e E m m a n u e l London: “I have an open mind going into the tournament,Icanonlydomy best. I am confident in my ability to swing, I can play according to my handicap. Concerning the course, I have never seen it, but I am hopingthatitisfriendly.”
Rackesh Harry: “I am looking forward for this tournament since this is the first time I am going to Tobago.
I am focusing on the basicsofgolfingandhoping to get a positive result. I am very confident that I will do wellsinceIamingoodform and hope to take away a prize. I am hoping the course will play like millenniuminTrinidadsince I have played there a few timesthere.”

Shanella London: “My mindset is to do my best by thegraceofGod,Ihavefaith inmyabilitiesasIhavewon the Guyana Open five times andtheSurinameOpenthree times. I know I can do it, I have no idea of how the coursewillplayasthisismy firsttimeinTobago.”
