OBJECTIVE →

The objective of this project was to educate the youth on social media addiction and its effects. Deliverables include posters, web interfaces, and physical goods. Since the target audience range from middle schoolers to high schoolers, the campaign should be engaging and thought-provoking.

APPROACH →

On the surface, social media addiction can be perceived not as serious for teenagers and adolescents. Instead of telling them what to do or deciding for them, it would be beneficial to share data and have them decide on what to do with it. The overall design choice was made to be engaging, interactive, and informational without being too preachy.

The objective was to redesign the packaging of an existing wine label.

By analyzing the chosen target audience, I tailored the experience to accommodate particular needs.

The form of the wine being in a gusset pouch makes it much more difficult for anyone trying to mess with your drink.

OBJECTIVE →

APPROACH →

Usual Wines is an online-based winery known for its striking persona.

They take pride in their all-natural cultivation, with zero additives all under the California sun. Redesigning the way it looks was not the only priority.

Reinventing the way we package our wine was also a challenge in itself.

We took the time in researching the many ways wine can be served.

About 1 in 13 college students in a new study from three U.S. campuses report having been drugged, or suspect that they were drugged. Drink spiking, or adding drugs to a person's drink without his or her knowledge or consent, can lead to sexual assault and injuries. By taking this all into account, no one should experience this type of non-consensual assault.

Wine in a pouch form makes slipping a pill more unlikely. It is resealable, lightweight, and consciously made for those to enjoy stress-free.

The objective was to create a San Francisco boutique that could exist in the current shopping climate. This boutique should align with the target audience, while also differentiating from competitors. Deliverables for this project include harmonious branding, web design, stationery, signage, and other deliverables.

Patina Cutlery is a San Francisco-based knife shop that caters to professional chefs and home cooks of all backgrounds. Patina is run by a crew of chefs who sell second-hand knives, instruct workshops, sharpen knives, and sell other cook-related items.

The goal was to design a contemporary visual system that will visually compare to the traditional approach many shops have. I took a lot of inspiration from aged knives that I have collected through my prior occupation as a line cook.

The objective was to create a festival that would take place in San Francisco. The event will be highly publicized throughout the Bay Area and should captivate people to visit. Deliverables are advertising, brochures, wristbands, merchandise, and other physical deliverables.

APPROACH →

Pre-colonial Filipino culture is rarely talked about because of cultural genocide. Documents, jewelry, and other physical possessions were destroyed during the Spaniard occupation. One of the remaining relics of the past is this rare form of tattoos done with ash and citrus thorns.

Filipino tattoos have pictorial meanings inspired by nature. Only the strongest men and women would receive this painful yet striking way of art. This festival pays homage to this almost lost form of art while educating the youth for many years to come.
