Executive Summary: Momentum for Good Executive Summary

Mission

At Goodwill Southeast Georgia, our purpose remains clear: to transform lives and strengthen our communities through the power of work. With a focused effort on imagining the possibilities to serve in new and innovative ways, this strategic plan is the blueprint for our next chapter – helping those we serve find a job, move to a better job and then establish a career on their journey to self-sufficiency.

We transform lives through education, skills training, and employment opportunities, empowering individuals to reach their highest potential.

Values Integrity Accountability Empowerment Service Teamwork

Through this plan, Goodwill will elevate our mission, accelerate our operations, and deepen impact within the communities we serve. For over sixty years, we have helped thousands of people, provided solutions that many could not find on their own, forged critical community partnerships, and operated successful business programs which provide income for investments in our communities, but we can and will do more.

This plan is built around three strategic goals:

• Mission: We will deepen our impact by meeting people where they are—expanding access to innovative, community-based programs and creating collaborative hubs supporting education, training, and career advancement. These efforts will drive economic mobility, self-sufficiency, and lasting change across our region.

• Operations: To sustain and scale our mission, we will grow and diversify our social enterprise. Through new business lines, improved safety and operational excellence, and enhanced donation strategies, we will build a more resilient and responsive organization to generate funds for future mission strategies.

• Impact: We will tell our story boldly—through data, partnerships, and authentic voices. By measuring and communicating our results, we will strengthen trust, grow support, and lead as a catalyst for social good.

This is more than a plan, it’s a collective commitment. Every initiative, every goal, and every metric is designed to help turn vision into action and possibilities into realities.

As we move forward together, we invite you to bring your creativity, passion and energy to the table.

Let’s move forward together.
