The society will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur to any exhibit. Your co-operation will be appreciated and will ensure correct entry in the catalogue.
1. ENTRIES:

d. All entries are to be made online via Showing Scene visit www.thedunstershow.co.uk
e. Ensure that the class is the correct one for the animal, i.e., age, sex, height, etc. and give all relevant information required.
f. Every Competitor or Exhibitor will be held entirely responsible for the correctness of their entry forms, in all respects - incorrect particulars may lead to disqualification. Any animal, however, which as a result of, in the Judges opinion, a genuine mistake on the entry form, is entered in a class for which it is not eligible may be shown in a class in which it would have been eligible – the judge’s decision is final.
g. Substitution of animals in place of those already entered but unable to be exhibited is NOT allowed.
h. Where applicable passports must accompany the animal to the Showground.
2. ENTRY PACKS WILL BE SENT BY EMAIL
a. Please ensure the correct email is provided on Showing Scene. Email pack will include all entry tickets.
b. Exhibitor back or arm numbers to be collect from the relevant office (Horse or Livestock) on show day or provide your own.
3. INSURANCE: All entrants must have adequate Personal/Public Liability insurance in place to provide cover for potential third-party injury or property damage arising from legal liability or negligence.
4. If any person, whether as exhibitor or competitor or otherwise, brings to the show any animal which they should reasonably have known to be dangerous or diseased and/or which causes injury or damage, they shall be liable for all injury, damages, costs, losses or expenses which the Committee or any other person may sustain, incur or be put to either directly or indirectly as a result of his or her so doing.
5. HEALTH & SAFETY: The Organisers of this show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
6. LOCAL CLASSES: to qualify for local classes, owners must have resided within a radius of 15 miles from Dunster showground (as the crow flies on the ordnance survey map) for six months during the 12 months ending on the day of the show.
7. AGES: all ages to be calculated to the day of the show unless otherwise stated.
8. OWNERSHIP: All animals exhibited must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor, both at the time of entry and on the day of the Show.
a. Under NO circumstances can an animal be substituted after the closing date of entries.
b The Committee reserves the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason for so doing.
9. CLASSES:
a. In the unavoidable absence of a judge as shown on the schedule, the Committee reserves the right to appoint a replacement without reference to competitors.
b. Classes with 20 or more entries will be awarded some special rosettes
c. Classes with three entries or less may be cancelled or amalgamated at the discretion of the Committee.
10. YOUR DETAILS: It is a condition of entry that owners’ and exhibitors’ details will be shared with any relevant bodies, including DEFRA and Societies where required. Names, addresses and photos may be printed in the catalogue and used for promotion both online and in print. By entering, competitors agree to this and agree to receive email updates from the Dunster Show and future schedules.
HORSES
11. EQUINE INFLUENZA: All equines on the showground including exhibitors and displays must follow the below guidelines: Horses should have been vaccinated within 12 months of the show to comply with the requirements of the primary course (1st vaccination and then 2nd vaccination between 21 - 92 days later), followed by the 1st booster (150-215 days) and all subsequent boosters. Horses may compete having received the primary course and prior to the first booster but not within seven days of receiving a vaccination dose.
a. In-foal mares that have already had vaccinations of primary Equine Influenza course should be vaccinated 4-6 weeks before the foal is due to be born. Foals should be vaccinated for Equine Influenza at six months to commence their primary course.
b. Vaccinations are subject to local risk assessment by the attending veterinarians.
c. Please note that neither vaccination certificates nor passports should be sent to the show prior to the event. However, random checks may be carried out on the showground during the show.
12. ENTRY FORMS:
a. Every exhibitor or competitor will be held entirely responsible for the correctness of their Entry Forms. In all respects incorrect particulars or information may lead to disqualification. Any animal, however, which as a result of, in the Judges’ opinion, a genuine mistake on the Entry Form, is entered in a class for which it is not eligible, may be shown in the class for which it would be eligible.
b. Horse Competitors are reminded that they MUST include the Registration Numbers where these are required by Breed Societies or Associations.
13. JUDGES’ INTEREST IN EXHIBITS. Exhibitors are not permitted to enter any animals in any class which is to be judged by a person who has or has had a financial interest in the animals in the previous 3 years or which has stood in his/her stable during the same period. Stud fees are not considered to be financial gain. The onus of complying with this regulation rests entirely on the exhibitor.
14. MARES & FOALS: Brood mares must be four years old or over. All foals, which must accompany mares in the ring, must be at least three weeks old on the day of the show.
15. EQUIPMENT:
a. Riders must wear the relevant exhibitor number of their horses.
b. The show strongly recommends that anyone on a horse must wear a correctly secured Skull Caps/ Riding Hats Nos. PAS015 2011, VG1, (BS) EN1384 2023, ASTM F1163 2015 and 2023, SNELL E2016 and E2021 onwards and MUST be always worn by riders in the BSPS classes when mounted.
c. It is mandatory for competitors in any class aged 16 years and under to wear such skull caps or riding hats.
d. Body protectors MUST be worn by all mounted competitors in the warmup area and in the ring for BSPS Working Sports Pony and BSPS Summer Worker Stakes.
e. No spurs to be worn in ridden Mountain & Moorland classes.
16. ANIMAL WELFARE: All animals ridden anywhere on the showground, rings or lorry parks must only be ridden by a rider whose size and weight does not compromise the animal’s welfare. We are operating under the 20% rider weight guideline where the rider in full riding attire with full tack must be less than 20% of the animal’s bodyweight. This is based on a relatively fit, healthy animal, as an overweight animal is also a welfare concern.
17. SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP: The Champions in each Horse Section must parade in the main ring, for the Supreme Championship, where their classes have been completed prior to 1.20pm and where stated in the schedule. Assembly to take place in the Main Ring Collecting Ring at 1.20 pm for the Supreme Championship taking place in Ring 1 at 1.30 pm.
18. ENTRIES:
CATTLE AND SHEEP
a. The closing date for sheep entries is 15th July 2026. However, due to the large number of sheep entries we receive we have had to cap the number we can accept. If we reach the cap before the 15th July then we reserve to right to close entries early. Late entries will not be accepted.
b. Cattle Entries Close 29th July online only. No late entries accepted.
19. All entry packs will be sent by email including entry tickets. Numbers are to be collected from the livestock office on show day, or provide your own.
20. ARRIVING & UNLOADING:
a. All stock vehicles must be removed from the vicinity of cattle and sheep lines immediately after unloading.
b. All Cattle and Sheep must be on the showground by 8am on show day and may arrive after 6pm the night before. All animals in the Cattle and Sheep Classes must remain on the showground until the Grand Parade of the prize winners in the main ring is completed.
21. PENNING & WELFARE:
a. Sheep pens must be purchased in advance. Special penning will be provided for maedi-visna (MV) sheep, providing this is notified on the entry form.
b. No straw or cover is provided in the penning area for cattle or sheep.
c. All exhibitors must provide appropriate shelter for their cattle or sheep throughout the show. Adequate shelter is essential for animal welfare and comfort when dealing with adverse weather conditions including heat. In cases of extreme heat, the show reserves the right to cancel the Grand Parade on welfare grounds.
d. All exhibitors MUST abide by the latest regulations set out by DEFRA and the APHA ahead of the show, most notably with regards to Blue Tongue and Foot and Mouth Disease.
22. MV SHEEP: Exhibitors of MV Accredited Sheep must provide a valid and fully completed MV/CAE health status report with an expiry date later than the show date to the stewards prior to unloading.
23. Cattle exhibited must be led in the judging ring.
24. RESULTS: In the event of the judge, in the Supreme Championship for Sheep or Cattle, failing to reach a result they will call in the appropriate Chief Steward as sole arbitrator.
Please note all cattle and sheep brought to the showground must be transported in accordance with DEFRA licensing and transport regulations. In the event of non-compliance entry to the showground will not be permitted.
During the show it is a requirement of the conditions of the show that all persons having contact with cattle and sheep abide by the operating procedures/plan as directed by the bio-security officer and stewards. Persons failing to follow these procedures at the showground will be asked to leave. Details of such persons will be kept by the licencing officer.
ENTRY FEES & PRIZE MONEY
1. Please consult the schedule for entry fees of each class.
2. Entry Fees will not be returned to entrants who fail to exhibit or take part in any competition. Any unpaid cheques will be charged a £5 administration fee.
3. Prize money will be paid by BACS to the bank details provided on entry after the show. Anyone who does not provide BACS details agrees to their prize money being donated to the Dunster Show Society for their charitable aims.
JUDGING AND PROTESTS
1. Should the Judges require a Veterinary Surgeon’s opinion, the Veterinary Surgeon on duty will be called in, and their decision shall be final. Any treatment required will be at the exhibitor’s cost.
2. When an animal that has been awarded a prize is disqualified or becomes ineligible to take or retain that prize under the Rules of the Society the animal placed next by the Judge shall take its place.
3. Any protest must be lodged with the Secretary in the handwriting of the Exhibitor, or that of their representative, before 3pm on the day of the Show, accompanied by a deposit of £20, which sum will be returned if the protest is sustained, but forfeited to the Society if the protest is not upheld. All disputes are to be settled by the Committee, whose decision shall be final.
PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERS
ALL MEMBERS are entitled to: Make full use, with their guests, of the exclusive Members’ Marquee, including free tea and coffee with access to the payable Members’ Bar and buffet lunch.
NOTE: the annual subscription for each member becomes due and payable on 1st January by direct debit, all members are entitled to purchase further members guest badges, contact the membership secretary.
MEMBERS
Members of the Dunster Show Society will receive one Members Badge, one Guest Badge and a Members Car Pass.
PATRONS
Patrons of the Dunster Show Society will receive one Patron’s Badge, two Guest Badges and a Members car pass.
VICE-PRESIDENTS
Members may be elected Vice-Presidents in appreciation of the services rendered by them to the Dunster Show Society.
SOCIETY RULES
1. The Society shall be named ‘Dunster Show Society’ and the objects shall be to improve, promote and encourage agriculture for the public benefit by the improvement of the breeding of horses, cattle and sheep and the demonstration, exhibition and showing of livestock, machinery, crafts, products, methods and processes connected with agriculture and agricultural education in particular by holding an annual agricultural show and supporting students undertaking land based vocational courses by way of annual bursaries and in furtherance of the above objects the Society shall have power to collect subscriptions and offer prizes at any show held in connection with the Society.
2. The general management of the Society shall be vested in a General Committee (the Committee) consisting of a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary and Board of Trustees.
3. The President shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting by a majority of the Members present.
4. The Annual General Meeting for elections as in 3 above, the presentation of the Society’s Balance Sheet, revision of the show schedule and other business shall be held during the month of January in each year at such a time and place as may be fixed by the Committee. Not less than fourteen days’ notice shall be given.
5. A Chairman and a Vice-Chairman of the Committee shall be elected each year by the Committee immediately after the Annual General Meeting, as shall a Chief Steward for each section, Horse, Cattle and Sheep. If not already elected Members of the Committee, the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Chief Stewards shall be exofficio Members.
6. The Committee shall have powers to co-opt Members onto Sub-Committees and may appoint SubCommittees and delegate responsibilities at any time for such purposes as the Committee thinks fit.
7. Vacancies occurring amongst the Officers or Committee during the year may be filled by the Committee. Any Officer or Committee Member so elected shall be subject to the same regulations as to retirement as the person whose place he or she has been elected to fill.
8. The appointment of Treasurer and Secretary shall be made by the Committee. Any remuneration paid to any Officer or other paid staff shall be authorised by the Committee.
9. The office of Vice-President is to be an honorary award given in appreciation for services rendered to the Society. The award to be given at the sole discretion of the Committee and carries no financial obligations. A maximum of two Vice-Presidents to be elected in any one year at the Annual General Meeting.
10. The annual subscription for each Member or Patron of the society shall be set at a rate deemed appropriate by the Committee and shall be payable on or before 1st January. All subscribers shall be entitled to vote at general meetings of the Society. The Members’ enclosure will be reserved for Vice-Presidents, Patrons and Members of the Society. Each will receive a Members’ badge, guest badge(s) and a forward car parking pass as determined by the level of membership subscribed for.
11. Any resolutions to be put to a Committee meeting or general meeting of the Society must be notified in writing to the Secretary at least fourteen days in advance of the meeting.
12. Any proposals to elect a new Trustee to the Committee must be notified to the Secretary at least fourteen days in advance of the relevant meeting.
13. Voting by proxy shall be allowed by Committee members only.
14. Trustees of the charity must be current members of Dunster Show Society.

All entrants are advised to read Conditions of Entry, especially the specific Horse regulations 11-17 prior to entry. All exhibitors must have adequate public liability insurance.
It is recommended that all competitors/riders must wear a securely fitted hard hat - see regulation 15. Riders must also adhere to regulation 16 in the interest of animal welfare.
All Champions in the Horse Section must parade in the main ring for the Supreme Championship. Assembly of all Champions in the Horse & Pony Collecting Ring at 1.20pm for the Parade in Ring 1 at 1.30pm.

Competitors and horses must hold a minimum of LIHS Qualifier-Eligible Membership/ Horse Registration with the Association to be eligible to compete in the LIHS BSHA Showing series. Any competitor who qualifies for a LIHS Showing Series Supreme Final, must then complete full LIHS Qualified registration within 14 days of qualification for their qualification to stand, or it will pass to the next eligible exhibit (the nominal cost of Qualifier-Eligible membership will be taken off the cost of Full LIHS registration). Any competitors/ horses which have existing BSHA membership/ registration for 2026 will not be required to complete any LIHS Membership / Registration for these classes.

A results points table will run for all qualifying classes, and a ‘wild card’ will be awarded to those unqualified with the highest points in each section following the final qualifier.

TH2 – The Dunster Show Society Perpetual Challenge Cup will be awarded to the best exhibit in this section.
TH3 – A Stag’s Head to be given by the Joint Masters of the Devon & Somerset Staghounds for the best horse in class 1 which has not previously won a head at Dunster or Exford Shows and is the property of a member or subscriber of the DSSH within the area Prescribed for local classes.
TH4 – The John Dibble Memorial Cup awarded to the Best Local Hunter awarded to the winner of Class 1.
TH5 – The Perpetual Langham Cup kindly donated by the late Rosie Cockerton to the best small hunter in Class 3.
MINIATURE HORSES – MHCGB
The following classes are open to MHCGB members/non-members, entries from non-members of MHCGB are warmly welcomed provided they are eligible to become members and compete with MHCGB. Horses do not need to be registered with any society. Horses may be shown clipped or un-clipped without penalty, but Shetland Ponies are NOT allowed. All exhibitors are welcome to attend the 2026 ‘National Championships of Great Britain’ where a warm welcome awaits whether you are a member or non-member NO QUALIFICATION NEEDED TO ENTER. CLASS 8 OPEN SHOW HORSE IN MINIATURE
Open to any age, any sex not to exceed 38” at maturity. Yearlings not to exceed 36”, Two-year-olds not to exceed 37”. The winner to be judged on being the best scaled down example of either a show hack, a show riding horse, a show hunter, or a show cob. (Shetland ponies cannot be shown as a show cob type Miniature Horse).
CLASS 9 OPEN MINIATURE HORSE AMERICAN BLOODLINES
Open to any age, any sex not to exceed 38” at maturity. Yearlings not to exceed 36”, Two-year-olds not to exceed 37”. Horse to have at least 25% American bloodlines (AMHA, AMHR & ASPC) in its parentage.
CLASS 10 OPEN ‘WEIGHT TYPE’ HORSE IN MINIATURE
Open to any age, any sex, not to exceed 38” at maturity. Yearlings not to exceed 36”, Twoyear-olds not to exceed 37”. Judged on the best example of a refined, middleweight, or draft type Miniature Horse. Shetland ponies cannot be shown as a draft type Miniature Horse.
CLASS 11 MINIATURE HORSE OPEN HOME-PRODUCED
Any age, any sex not to exceed 38” at maturity. Yearlings not to exceed 36”, Two-yearolds not to exceed 37”. Open to Miniature Horses that are owned, handled and produced solely by the exhibitor. Handlers may not have produced horses for others and horse may not have been prepared or shown by a producer or in show livery since January 1st, 2025.
H5 MINIATURE ADULT CHAMPIONSHIP Open to Highest placed 3yrs plus 1st & 2nd from each of the 5 classes to compete (10 horses) Rosette for Champion and Reserve.

MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND PONIES
NPS MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND QUALIFYING ROUNDS
CONDITIONS:
These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS. Ponies must be registered in the main body of their respective M&M Stud Book. Or for British Riding Pony Classes must be registered in the appropriate section of the British Riding Pony Studbook.
Qualifying rounds for most NPS competitions are open to ponies owned by NPS members and nonmembers but only ponies owned by adult NPS Qualifying or Life members are eligible to qualify for the final of the competition at the NPS Summer Championship Show at Malvern in August 2027. The highest placed pony, if owned by an NPS member, in each class will qualify for the final. Qualification may pass down to third place if the first and second ponies are already qualified.
The NPS/Absorbine M&M In-Hand Summer Championship 2027
To be run under National Pony Society Rules 2026 and Open to registered youngstock, stallions mares and geldings registered in the main body of their respective breeds societies stud book (foals are not eligible to qualify). Owner’s membership cards must be shown in the ring to qualify.
Riders of Home Produced ponies (see definition in the NPS Rules Book) can wear a white arm band in classes where this is indicated. These ponies, if owned by NPS members, are then eligible to qualify for the final at the NPS Summer Championship Show. Owner’s membership cards must be shown in the ring to qualify.
NPS SILVER MEDAL ROSETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS CONDITIONS:
NPS Silver Medal Rosette Championships: These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS Silver Medal Rosettes are only awarded when the owner of the champion pony is a Qualifying or Life member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the rider’s/handler’s possession on entering the ring and be produced immediately on request by either the judge or the steward. If the owner of the Champion pony is not a member, or the owner’s membership card is not immediately produced, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve Champion provided they have the required membership card. If the Champion pony has previously qualified it is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette, but the qualification card goes to the Reserve Champion pony, provided the owner of that pony is a member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and the qualification card can be awarded no lower than first Reserve (third). Foals are not eligible for Silver Medal Championships.
Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Rosette Championship to be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show in August 2027

DIRECT ROUTE QUALFIERS – Are open to Members and Non-members HOWEVER, to claim the LIHS ticket a competitor MUST already be a 2026 member. The members MUST produce the membership card or a covering letter from the SSAD Show office to be able to claim the LIHS Ticket. The same rider/handler/pony/horse combination must stay the same for the Grand Final, unless under special circumstances, on such an occasion the directors may deem it fit to alter said rule. Exhibitors will go round the ring as whole group, (no pull in). They will then undertake an individual display (rather than a show) where they need to show certain movements which will include walk, trot, canter on both reins, a canter circle, canter transitions on the straight, extension in canter on one rein and free walk on a long rein and halt. Competitors in these classes will not be stripped. Shows may put on a Championship for the two highest exhibits in the performance classes.

Whilst in the ring ponies must always be led by the leader.
The Leader must lead on the near side with the lead rein in the left hand.

BSPS LIHS WORKING SPORTS PONY 148cm and 158cm Method of Judging (Classes 51&52)
The class will be judged by one judge.
At the final the height of fences will remain at 85cm for class 1 and 95cm class 2.
The course will consist of a minimum of 10 fences, maximum of 12 fences.
Riders will enter the ring individually, and present their pony to the judge, who will assess the pony’s conformation, freedom of movement, (asking the rider walk and trot back before commencing their jumping round) type and athleticism. Awarding a mark out of 10.
The judges will award up to 30 marks for style, technique and athleticism whilst jumping.
At end of the jumping round the rider will gallop the pony down the long side of the ring, for which a mark out of 10 will be awarded
Riders will then canter, trot, walk and halt, demonstrating, manners, correct paces and training, for which a mark of 10 will be awarded.
A final mark of 10 will awarded for the style, position and effectiveness of the rider.

(Height of fences 85cm) Ponies must be shown plaited, running plaits providing the forelock is plaited, are permissible. To be ridden in any suitable bridle, including a correctly fitted running martingale.
CLASS 52 BSPS WORKING SPORTS PONY 158cm (LIHS qualifier) Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old or over not exceeding 158cm. Riders any age. (To ride a stallion, refer to rule 62 for age of riders in LIHS Performance Class) (Height of fences 95cm) Ponies must be shown plaited, running plaits providing the forelock is plaited are permissible. To be ridden in any suitable bridle including a correctly fitted running martingale. Competitors may compete two ponies in each qualifying class. The highest placed pony will count for final placings. The same pony/rider combinations can only qualify in one class. Competitors can compete in both classes, but will qualify for the final in the first class they qualify in. Riders can only qualify one pony in each class. There will be 15 qualifying rounds. The highest placed pony not already qualified will qualify for the final providing the pony, owner and rider are registered with the BSPS within seven days. A JMB height certificate is not required. The two highest placed unqualified horses in the qualifying class will be eligible to compete in the BSHA Rising Star Associate Final at the BSHA National Championships Show. LIHS BSHA SHOWING SERIES QUALIFIER: CLASS 89 -will qualify for the BSHA Supreme finals at London International Horse Show, December 2026. Tattersalls RoR OPEN In-Hand Show Series Qualifier 2027 – Class 87
Open to all RoR and NR competition registered horses, 3yrs and over, fillies, mares and geldings. Handlers must be 15 years or over on the 1st of January 2026. Horses do not need to be shod to compete in the RoR Open In-Hand class. Horses can be shown in a bitless/In-Hand Bridle. Blemishes caused by racing will be ignored. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force. Handlers/grooms must wear a safety/ kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. The first three go forward to the final at The Jockey Club RoR National Championships at Aintree, August 2027
The Highest Placed Veteran also qualifies for the Tattersalls RoR Open In-Hand Veteran Show final at the Jockey Club RoR National Championships in August 2027
Tattersalls RoR AMATEUR Ridden Show Series Qualifier 2027 CLASS 88
Open to all RoR and NR competition registered horses, 4yrs and over, mares and geldings, owned, produced and ridden by an Amateur. Riders must be 15 years or over on the 1st January 2026. Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, Pelham or simple double bridle with a plain cavesson noseband. Horses should be plaited. Racing injuries and blemishes ARE IGNORED in this series. The Series is open to AMATEUR riders only – those employed in racing will be allowed to compete. Class will be judged under ‘riding horse’ format without ‘type’ being taken into consideration. The Judge will not ride in the qualifiers but will ride in the Final. Competitors/grooms must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. The first three go forward to the final at the Hickstead Derby Meeting, June 2027
The winner also qualifies for the Tattersalls RoR Amateur Ridden Special at the Jockey Club RoR National Championships in August 2027. Highest Placed Veteran qualifies for the RoR Ridden Veteran Final on the same date – August 2027
Amateur definition:
The rules are as in the rulebook with the following addition that an amateur may not show a horse owned or sponsored by a company or commercial firm. In addition, a person classed as an amateur must not be supported by a company in any way or act as a brand ambassador whether financially or in-kind. An amateur is a person who for the purpose of RoR classes does not/has not during the current season or previous season:
Engage(d) in breeding, livery, buying or selling, dealing or hiring horses in commercial capacity. Horses must not have been stabled at or reside in a Professional Producer’s/Trainer’s yard from January 1st, 2025. Riders must not have ridden any animals produced by a Professional/Trainer in the current or previous season. Horses and riders must not receive any help from a Professional Producer/Trainer at a SHOW in the current season. A rider who has ridden a Professional/Producer Trainer in the current or previous season must not have ridden horses at a show. Any breaches of this ruling will be taken seriously and will result in disqualification from future classes.

The welfare of livestock (prohibited operations) Reg. 1982 will be enforced, therefore no short- docked sheep maybe exhibited at the show. To be judged in the Fleece Marquee at 10am For the purposes of this competition, fleeces must be neatly rolled and secured by the neck wool. Exhibitors are restricted to a maximum of three fleeces in any one class. Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that fleeces are delivered to the Fleece Marquee between 8.30am and 9.30am on the day of judging. Fleeces may be collected after 5pm on show day. Fleeces that are artificially stained or coloured or fastened with any form of twine will be eliminated. The competition will be judged on a points system. Fleeces may be moved at the discretion of the judge.

4. For tickets to be allocated there is a minimum of 3 entries (£9.00). Exhibitor tickets will be allocated on the basis of 1 per exhibitor irrespective of the number of entries made above the minimum. If you are unable to make 3 entries, please purchase your exhibitor’s ticket at a discounted rate via showing scene at the time of entering.

6. If sufficient entries allow classes may be split into Organic & Non-Organic.
7. In the event of the number of entries in any class falling below three, or the number of exhibitors being less than two, the class may be cancelled.
8. Exhibits to be staged (in the signed marquee within the livestock area) between 6am and by 8.30am on show day and remain until 4pm.
9. All produce to have been grown by exhibitor (All forage must come from genuine farming enterprises, with no supply accepted from biodigesterassociated producers).
