Design a Rain Garden

Rain gardens offer an attractive solution in regions where water is scarce and outdoor use accounts for more than half of residential consumption. A rain garden is a simple depression in the soil that captures rainwater runoff, creating a mini oasis each time it rains. This method adds interest to the landscape, reduces reliance on groundwater, and provides plants with free, high-quality water. Participants are encouraged to bring an aerial map or photos of areas with drainage challenges for guidance.
