People often ask where they can donate food locally - I am Member Pioneer for Co-op St Anne’s and Broomhill and we have food donation points in both stores. The one in Wyatts View goes to Family Action Food Clubs and the one in Broomhill goes to a food collection at Broomhill Juniors School. Any indate, sealed, nonperishable items gratefully received (no fridge/freezer items).
Thanks!

Every Sunday we have three short passages from the bible to reflect on. There's usually one from the Old Testament - the Jewish bible as well as Christian; one from the life of the early church after Jesus; and one from the gospel stories of Jesus' life.
Now we are in the time of Lent – lasting forty days (excluding Sundays) until Easter, during which in the early days, adults and families prepared themselves to be baptised on Easter Day.
This Sunday we have a mid Lent break, sometimes known as ‘Refreshment Sunday’ or ‘Mothering Sunday’ or more commonly Mothers’ Day
‘Mother here can refer to our own human mothers; to the Church which is sometimes thought of as our mother, and of course also Mary, the mother of Jesus
Whichever we relate to, we should be thankful

Church Parade, Brislington, Bristol BS4 4LS
The Course aims to help Christians think more deeply about what it means to be human.
It provides a structured and accessible way for local groups to engage in and reflect on Living in Love and Faith, a major exploration of Christian teaching and learning about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage.
The five sessions of the course each address a key question:
* What does it mean to learn together as followers of Jesus Christ?
* How does our identity in Christ relate to sex and gender?
* What kinds of relationships does God call us to?
* Where do our bodies and sex fit into all of this?
* How do diversity and difference affect our life together as a church?
Each session includes an opening reflection about learning together, followed by teaching, time for discussion and Bible study.
