Haresh Singh’s family calls for justice, six months after his murder remains unsolved

Months after his death, relatives of murdered West Coast Berbice teens gathered outside the Office of the President calling for Justice.

Singh was murdered in September last year, days after teens Joel and Isiah Henry mutilated bodies were found in a backdam in West Coast Berbice.

Three persons have since been charged with the murders of the Henry cousins, but to date, mum is the word on the state of the investigation into Singh’s murder.

While venting their frustration, family members registered their disappointment in the manner the matter has

been dealt and according to them, it feels like Singh’s Life has no matter.

“We came to protest because six months have gone since my grandson passed away, and they are not doing anything about it,” Singh’s grandmother told the media, ” It’s like his life don’t count. They are not coming to do

anything about this. They aren’t coming to find out, they are not coming to do anything. It’s like my grandson doesn’t have an owner, he doesn’t have anybody to fight for him.
