President, Dr Irfaan Ali, on Tuesday, met with a team of local entrepreneurs and foreign investors. The Head of State was joined by Vice-President, Dr Bharrat Jagdeo and CEO of the Guyana Office for Investment (Go-Invest), Dr Peter Ramsaroop. CEO of Brandt Inc., Rick Brandt, who was one of the foreign investors at the meeting, said that the agriculture market, building infrastructure and energy, including power plants and renewable energy, were among some of the areas discussed. He called the overall meeting “great” and said that the President was very responsive and positive with the developmental ideas.
