Power relief for Port Kaituma

…as gov't dispatches new engine for generator Residents of Port Kaituma can now breathe a sigh of relief as government dispatched a new engine to power their generator, which has caused intermittent blackouts in the community over the past weeks. In a statement Monday the Ministry of Public Infrastructure said through its agent Power Producers and Distributors Inc the replacement engine was successfully dispatched to Port Kaituma, Region One. The replacement engine arrived a few months after the community has been experiencing fluctuating power outages. Minister of Public Infrastructure David Patterson sought to remedy this by replacing the old engine, so as to have residents resume to their normal course of life as soon as possible. The engine was expected to be installed on Monday.
