Detective Constable Keaisha Erskine of ‘E’ Division (Linden) was late Friday night crowned Miss Guyana Police Force Queen, when the inaugural pageant was held at the National Cultural Centre. Ms Erskine, who competed on the platform ‘addressing suicide’ has described herself as God-fearing, benevolent and humble. A born Lindener, Erskine is also a second year University of Guyana student. Through her platform she hopes to inspire others from her personal experience and also urges persons who are thinking of suicide to seek counselling and to look at the world from a different angle.
