US election 2016 result ...
Too close to call At 02:00hrs this morning, polls across the US, with the exception of Alaska, were declared closed. At the time, Trump was projected to win the key battleground states of Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, as well as a host of Republican strongholds. The states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, however, were declared “too close to call.” Clinton, on the other hand, was projected to win the swing state of Virginia and the Northeastern states. Up to press time, Trump was only 26 electoral votes away from securing the 270 votes needed. See more in tomorrow’s paper.
