John Bacon nació en Coeur d’ alene (Idaho) en 1951. Tras licenciarse en medicina, ejerció como cirujano ortopédico durante 30 años. Hace seis años, y con la insistencia de su esposa Claire, empezó a pintar cuadros abstractos. A través de la práctica y la experimentación, desarrolló su propio estilo.

Ahora es un pintor internacional, y sus cuadros se caracterizan por el uso del color y el movimiento para crear energía e interés en sus pinturas. Su objetivo es atraer al espectador hacia el cuadro por el impacto general de la pintura y por la observación posterior para ver los detalles.

John Bacon was born in Coeur d’ alene, Idaho in 1951. After receiving a medical degree, he practiced orthopedic surgery for 30 years. Six years ago at the urging of his wife Claire, he began to paint abstract paintings. Through practice and experimentation, he developed his own unique style.

Now he is an international painter. John’s paintings are characterized by the use of color and movement to create energy and interest in his paintings. His goal is to draw the viewer into the painting by the painting’s overall impact and on further observation to see the detail.
