The second edition of 1983 of the Italian magazine "sorrisi e canzoni TV" (in English "TV smiles and songs", the Italian version of the American "TV Guide") announced as possible the participation of Laura Branigan in the popular Sanremo Music Festival 1983 that took place from February 3 to 5 at the Ariston Theater in Sanremo, however, after investigating, the truth is that Laura did not participate in that great event. Several foreign artists mentioned in the article like Phill Collins, Steve Miller Band, Human League, Duran Duran and the "Puma" Jose Luis Rodriguez finally were not in the festival while others like Ph.D., Peter Gabriel, Toquinho actually acted on it. In fact, there were also John Denver, the duet Marek i Wacek, the rock band Scorpions, KC and the Sunshine Band, Commodores and the band Saxon which had not been mentioned here.
