PK branded quality zips Two thin strips of liquid neoprene sit on the inner wrist & ankles,forming the perfect seal between skin and suit, minimising flush. 150% stretch neoprene is used in our high performance wetsuits. Seams have been placed away from areas of high wear. Minimal panel layout helps to accommodate more body shapes Highly abrasion resistant nylon; created by applying resin coating to the outer surface of a double knit nylon. Increases resistance to abrasion by up to 4-5 times.

Panels are double glued and then butted together followed by stitching that does not penetrate all the way through the neoprene.Inside the wetsuit, heat welded tape goes over the seams inhigh stress areas, this further strengthens the seams.

Gul have been making wetsuits for over 50 years. Our heritage of making wetsuits has allowed us to identify any points of failure or wear. Over the years we have refined our centre suits on a wealth of feedback from supplying surf schools/centres from across the globe. Our main focus is durabilty; the DOT SERIES wetsuits have been designed to take a daily battering! The key to withstanding this is both in the materials and fit: DURATEX Seat and POWERTEX knees use a slightly higher density foam. Seams are GBS, key pressure points are taped for additional reinforcement, and only ever use the highest quality zips. The CENTREFIT pattern has been developed using REVOFIT 3D pattern technology specifically for centre use, resulting in a slightly more generous fit to enable quick fitting. CROTCHY V-crotch panel and MINIMUMSEAMS help to move seams away from high wear and stress areas. REPAIR SERVICE Gul is one of the original wetsuit brands that actually made wetsuits in Cornwall, UK before production moved offshore. We have retained the production knowledge gained over the past 50+ years, however we also know that we can’t promise that these suits will not suffer some wear, given the extreme nature of the usage. We therefore offer a competitive repair service if the need arises!

When you take a piece of waterproof material and sew through it, you punch holes through the waterproofing. These holes need to be sealed, so we apply a H20PR%F hot-melt tape over the seams of the jacket. Making a 100% watertight seal protecting you from the harshest elements.
