Galleon Companies is comprised of industry leaders in real estate and construction. Principals, Jay Barnes and Tom Pohlman each bring 20 plus years’ experience as developers.

Jay is Galleon’s leader in business development and client relations. Jay is an expert in real estate, development and construction. Throughout his career, Jay has developed over a million square feet of space across every real estate category, most recently partnering with Galleon Principal Tom Pohlman to develop a 40-story luxury five-star hotel and condo tower in Nashville, Tennessee. Outside of Galleon, Jay presides over the real estate committee for Northern Capital Investments (Naples, FL) and sits on the architectural review committee for the TPC of Treviso Bay (Naples, FL).

Tom has developed real estate in multiple states, managing all aspects of the construction and development process for each project. Along with Galleon business partner Jay Barnes, Tom is one of the key developers in the 1.1 million square foot, 40-story Four Seasons Hotel and condo tower in Nashville, TN. As principal at Galleon, Tom brings his extensive real estate and development experience to direct day to day operations and oversee client relationships.
