2021 saw the continued growth of chef-owner Vincenzo Betulia’s culinary footprint in Southwest Florida. In April, North Naples welcomed a second location of downtown hotspot Bar Tulia with the opening of Bar Tulia Mercato, boasting a greatly expanded menu and outside dining, yet retaining the intimate atmosphere, renowned craft cocktails and culinary excellence of the original.
Back downtown, Betulia’s landmark The French Brasserie Rustique received a record number of guests, including many new residents of Naples who were enamored with the restaurant’s hallmark tree-lit courtyard, authentic brasserie fare and dedicated and welcoming service. Meanwhile, Osteria Tulia continued to be an essential destination in Naples dining.
With all his establishments, Betulia’s goal is to showcase the simple flavors of the Mediterranean from his Sicilian upbringing, while procuring Florida’s bounty by supporting local growers and suppliers.
