The University of the West Indies Fresher’s Guide- “The Compass”, is a magazine published once per year
during the “orientation period”, which begins in the last two weeks in August. It features
the services offered at the UWI, the Halls of Residence, and activities on and off-campus,
safety, shopping and security tips, among several other things. It is the official magazine
of the university and will serve as a necessary guide to all incoming university students
and present students alike.
