Expertise is all around us, our loved ones are experts, the people we work with, people in the news and sometimes these experts do some pretty amazing things. Below we have highlighted three famous experts who have accomplished amazing feats and want you to click this link to vote on which expert you would have dinner with if you could. Dr. Kizzmeika Corbett was instrumental in the development of Moderna’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccine. She was the scientific lead on the team and her work earned her a TIME Magazine Hero of the Year Designation. Since developing the vaccine, Dr. Corbett continues to work on battling vaccine misinformation.

Dr. Katie Bouman is computer scientist who led the development of the algorithm that created the first-ever image of a black hole. The image of the black hole was captured by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) and was rendered by Dr. Bouman’s algorithm.

Chesley Burnett “Sully” Sullenberger III is a retired American fighter pilot, diplomat, and airline pilot. He is best known for his role in the US Airways Flight 1549 incident where both engines on the plane failed after a bird strike. He safely landed the plane in the Hudson River and all 155 people aboard survived.
