HOW TO WRAP YOUR PRESENTS WITH
Beautiful Fabric
4
Nothing says Christmas more than beautifully wrapped presents under the Christmas tree, but before they get there, Santa's elves need to shop and wrap them before the big day. If you need a helping hand on wrapping your gifts this year, Santa's little helpers have an easy guide to help you wrap your presents a little more sustainably this year by using leftover fabric or scarves you plan to gift.
HOW TO WRAP WITH A BOW
Recommended fabric size - 4 x the size of the gift. A square piece of fabric is ideal.
1) Place your gift in the centre of the fabric, ensure the edges of the package are perpendicular to the edges of the fabric. 2) Fold the bottom side of the fabric up and over the side of the gift. 3) Hold the left corner in place and wrap the top right corner of the fabric over the gift and hold in place. 4) Crease the fabric along the top and bottom edges of the gift on the left side and pull taut while pressing down on the top of the gift with your other hand. 5) Bring the left folded edge over the top of the gift and hold it in place. Repeat the process on the right side. 6) Tie the ends into a bow to secure the fabric.
You can use a range of fabrics from scarves, old t-shirts, fat quatres and more, it is a fun and unique way to wrap your gifts this season.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT
Make your own Wreath
Time to get crafty! Why not try a new festive-themed craft this season? Bound to get you in the spirit of Christmas, making your own wreath is a great activity to do with friends and family this season.
1
18
Take your evergreen foliage and begin to twist it around a metal circle. Wrapping the stem of the leaves around the metal wire, try and keep the end of the leaves facing outwards. Tie in place using the twine or gardening wire, and continue around the circle until you have covered the wire in leaves. You may need to tie each stem in a few different places depending on how long each piece is.
2 Depending on how thick your evergreen foliage is, you may want
to go back around the wire 2 or 3 times, ensuring the metal is completely covered. Overlap the stems so that the leaves of one are covering the bare stem of another.
3 Take your extra foliage and begin to add it in between the evergreen leaves. Moss works particularly well at bulking out your wreath. You can now add flowers to inject colour and brighten up the greenery. Keep securing these extra pieces with a single wrap of wire.
4 Finally, finish your wreath with berries or pine cones for a seasonal
touch. Try spray painting your pine cones in gold, silver or fake snow to add even more festive spirit to your wreath! Now all you need to do is find the perfect spot to hang your new wreath! If you’ve used fresh foliage, hanging your wreath outside will help it keep for about 4 weeks. If you hang a fresh wreath inside, it will last approximately 2 weeks – although this will vary depending on which type of foliage you’ve used.
If using foliage isn’t quite your thing, why not have a go at making this simple painted and embellished wreath for a quick and easy festive activity? You could even make a whole bunch of these adorable wreaths and string them together with ribbon to create a unique garland.

HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS DR. SE U S S
“The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season! Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason…” With a heart two sizes too small, the Grinch is the meanest creature you’ll ever meet. He hates Christmas and the whole festive season. But when he hatches a dastardly plot to steal Christmas, he’s in for a big surprise!
NUTCRACKER AND MOUSE KING E.T.A HO FFMAN
E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic children’s tale, “Nutcracker and Mouse-King,’ was originally penned in German in 1816. The fairy tale tells the story of a young girl’s magical dream, filled with stories with a dark undertone. In 1844, Dumas adapted this iconic tale as a children’s story, which is now well known as a ballet, choreographed by Marius Petipa’s with Tchaikovsky’s music.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL CHA R L E S D I CK E N S
A Christmas Carol is the most famous, heart-warming and chilling festive story of them all. In these pages we meet Ebenezer Scrooge, whose name is synonymous with greed and parsimony: ‘Every idiot who goes about with “Merry Christmas” on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart’. This attitude is soon challenged when the ghost of his old partner, Jacob Marley, returns from the grave to haunt him on Christmas Eve… 37

BEHIND THE SCENES
The weird thing about working in fashion retail, or any form of retail, is that you’re preparing for Christmas months in advance. Our team made their way to Norfolk in October, famous for Colemans Mustard and Kettle Chips, to shoot our Christmas campaign! We went to the beautiful village of Blakeney in Norfolk and the set for our shoot was a super fun and quirky Air BnB. It was the perfect location for our Christmas shoot with its festive wallpaper, cosy open fire and wood panelled walls. Believe it or not, the master bedroom had a stand alone bath tub AND a disco ball – how awesome is that? 38
The cosy, outdoor entertaining area (complete with huge wood burner) is set in a garden that overlooks the salt marshes, close to Blakeney Harbour. It had beautiful views and really made the perfect set for our photoshoot. We celebrated Christmas early with a group of four friends all staying in this Norfolk bolt hole, dressing the Christmas tree and lounging in our new range of cosy sleepwear, partying in our range of sparkly womenswear, and sumptuous fabric men’s shirts. Followed by a snowy walk to the local pub and even enjoying a cheeky little snowball fight. Although we may have needed a little helping hand, as it doesn’t tend to snow in England in mid-October! We enjoyed dressing the tree with our new range of Christmas decorations, a range of handmade limited edition decorations and our hanging socks! As always our new collection has a range of fantastic and, this season, festive items that make the perfect gift for the ones you love, and yourself of course! 39
A twist on the classic 12 days of Christmas, this year we are bringing the carol to life! For 12 selected days in December, we will be giving you the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes from businesses we love. From delicious treats, Weird Fish clothing vouchers, homeware and more, we have a range of amazing gifts we cannot wait to give away!
For a chance to win enter here. Good luck!
