Bob Dylan, Jackson Pollock, Janis Joplin, Andy Warhol, Jimi Hendrix, Jack Kerouac – all of these people, and more, were residents of the Chelsea. The Hotel’s bohemian environment led to wild parties as well as inspiration for such iconic figures.
