June is… National Cancer Survivor Month
In the month of June, we shared information for our cancer survivor warriors such as sleeping tips after treatment and the importance of follow-up care.
With our island still in recovery mode, our Non-Direct Services staff were able to assist with Direct Services operations by providing broader outreach to new and registered patients at our clinic partners, TakeCare FHP and Guam Regional Medical City. This made our services more accessible to those at the clinics already and inform people of our programs.

We also celebrated Guam Cancer Care’s 12th Birthday! A big thank you to all of our JTF partners, clinic partners, and supporters for helping our organization grow. Each year, we strive to bridge those gaps our cancer community face here on island. Without all of your support, we would not be able to continue to improve those obstacles and expand our reach. After all, no one fights alone!
Lotte Hotel Guam

We partnered up with TakeCare for Lotte Hotel Guam’s Employee Health Fair. Employees had the chance to talk with us about cancer screening and the programs and services we have to offer to the community. Those who answered our Cancer Screening Questionnaire redeemed a free wristband, pen, and pamphlets of information about Guam Cancer Care.
