ourRector’s Message Our life in Christ inspires gratitude and that gratitude, in turn, inspires us to embrace life. As Christians, we acknowledge that all we are and all we have derives from God. Jesus Christ is God’s ultimate gift to us, and we respond to the sheer magnitude of grace by living a life of gratitude. No wonder that our principal service each week is called the Great Thanksgiving.

we showed our gratitude for All Saints’ with a special liturgy and luncheon. One month from now, on November 4, we will conclude our year of centennial celebrations with a “great thanksgiving” in which Bishop Mary blesses and commissions our missions and ministries. That evening, in a beautiful festal Evensong, we will offer gratitude for all of those from All Saints’ who have gone before us.

The second core value of the school, written long ago by Fr. Farmer, Fr. On a personal note, let me tell you how thankful I am for you and the entire All Saints’ community. It is a pleasure to serve as your rector. I am grateful for all of the leaders, team members, and solo servants who carry forward our ministries. As we look back on the first-ever Festival of Christian Spirituality, I am grateful for God’s inspiration and for all who have prayed about and discussed this ministry over the past five years. I am grateful for the long-time members who have faithfully served over the years. I am equally grateful for the newer members who have joined During this centennial year we the church, and for the wave of new have found a number of ways of arrivals. I honor all who serve in our expressing gratitude. Last month missions. Continued on page 2
