Placements
If you are successful in securing a Placement position with us, you will work alongside our qualified experts, assisting with a wide range of projects depending on your chosen sector.
Placement positions offer a 12 month opportunity in various disciplines, working alongside experienced surveyors. You will be assisting with reports, mapping, inspections and on-site visits, whilst gaining office experience in a dedicated branch, collaborating with the wider team and working in the beautiful South West countryside.
During your time with us, you will explore diverse departments and develop specialist skills, all as a component of your degree programme. We will support your education while providing essential professional skills like communication, workplace and office proficiency.

Apprenticeships
If you secure an Apprenticeship with us you will be working alongside our qualified experts, assisting with a wide range of tasks depending on your chosen sector.
Our 16 month to five-year apprenticeship programmes involve full-time work at a designated branch under a qualified expert’s mentorship. Alongside university or college attendance, this pathway combines practical and theoretical learning, leading to either a Level 2, 3 or 6 qualification while gaining hands-on experience.
During your time with us, you will explore diverse departments and develop specialist skills. We provide ongoing support with structured college/university sessions, while providing essential professional skills like communication, workplace and office proficiency.
At the end of your apprenticeship programme you will have the skills and experience to successfully progress with a career in your chosen field.

It’s not all work and no play. There is a thriving sporting scene at GTH, with opportunities to join colleagues in the cricket, netball and hockey teams. You’ll find most offices arrange regular get-togethers and our biennial GTH Partners’ Party is legendary!
