


Welcome to our November edition of the Development Sites List. October saw several exchanges and completions ahead of the Autumn Budget. The most notable being the sale of approximately 25-hectares (62-acres), which forms part of the Cobden extension to Cranbrook and has outline planning permission (application number: 22/0406/MOUT) for a mixed-use development scheme, including 1,435no. dwellings (85% open market and 15% affordable).
The Autumn Budget, delivered by the first female Chancellor Rachel Reeves, will lead to investment in house building and in particular affordable housing. Changes to capital gains tax and inheritance tax will styme enterprise, business and investment.
