LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION

Roger Grotefendt is the 2022 Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Division Employee of the Year He began his LE career with the GTSO in 2018. He is an Evidence Technician, Community Police Officer, Field Training Officer, and a Negotiator with the Emergency Response Team He has a unique attention to detail, is very motivated, energetic, and has a willingness to help. He is continuously one of the top performers for traffic stops, citations, and arrests. He sets a great example for other officers to follow.
