myGTC
Employee testing begins: June 20
The end-to-end training that will be conducted by the selected employees will begin with a mandatory meeting on June 16th with testing to begin on June 20th. The testing will take place for 3 weeks and will consist of approximately 1,700 testing scenarios. Between 28 testers, each tester would help with about 60 tests each. The 3 weeks are mandatory for participants to attend with it ending by July 8th. These tests consist of, for example, asking staff to go into our myGTC and request time off, change direct deposit accounts, or purchase something for the office. The mandatory meeting on June 16th ( 2 sessions, 2 hours each) will demonstrate how to use the reporting software and review the testing scenarios. This testing is crucial for our myGTC and to help fix issues early on to have a smooth end result come October when myGTC is launched to all employees. Thank you In advance to all participating employees for taking the time to help make the new ERP the best it can be.

13TH CIRCUIT COURT
VOLUNTEER WITH THE COURTS
The 13th Circuit Court Family Division & Probate Court would like to invite you to make a difference in the community by donating your time to someone in need. Since 1971, the Volunteer Division has worked under the belief that citizen participation was much needed to enrich the court’s work with the community. Today, under the guidance of Judge Jennifer Whitten, Volunteer Services still believes in that original mission: to create opportunities for everyday citizens to engage in the community through volunteering.
Just one person has the power to make a long-lasting impact on those in need. You can serve in a number of roles by completing state-mandated reviews of guardianships for both minors and adults, assisting conservators with annual reports of income and expenses, transporting youths on probation, or as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children of neglect/abuse cases, and more! No experience is required, just the time and willingness to help!
They are dedicated to helping you to find the volunteer role that fits your schedule and interests. Volunteering with the court may require working with high-risk individuals. Standard background checks will be completed prior to any training, and may also require fingerprinting.
Find out more about your courts, your community, and what you can do to enrich your life while helping others by calling 231-922-4827, or emailing jweber@gtcountymi.gov to learn more to schedule your interview today!

Burnout Burnout is caused by long-term, unresolved stress and can impact your overall enjoyment, interest in hobbies, and your productivity at work and at home. You may feel unusually pessimistic, begin missing activities, start to detach from personal relationships, and experience depleted energy levels. Signs of burnout include exhaustion, isolation, irritability, frequent illness, and depression. If you find yourself feeling stressed more often than not, this could be a precursor to burnout.
Pursuing work-life harmony and taking care of your well-being is a great first step toward preventing burnout. Giving yourself permission to focus your best effort on a few things rather than all things is a great place to start. However, when stress becomes too much to handle on your own, it might be time to seek professional help.
