GTB PREPAREDNESS: MASS CASUALTY TRAINING EXERCISE

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians conducted a Mass Casualty Response Exercise Tuesday, May 1, 2018 held at The Ridge Microbrewery facility parking lot and GTB Medicine Lodge. This training exercise allowed for the unification of multiple local public safety agencies to train for the triage for multiple injuries and casualties. GTB staff were tested on patient accountability, vehicle extrication, patient transport/tracking, and initiating HAZMAT protocols from the initial accident scene and ending at the GTB Medicine Lodge.
