GTB FIGHTS THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 The astonishing spread of COVID-19 has shocked the world and closed down services in many Government bodies. The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians Tribal Government is no exception. Recently, EDC, Gaming facilities and public GTB sponsored events have been closed and canceled until April 13th, with extensions looming, to comply with the Governor Whitmer’s recent executive order. The GTB Government is still providing limited, yet essential, services during these difficult times. Pictured above staff from GTRC deliver food for distribution to GTB Health and Human Services. Beginning on pg. 12 you will find information on services still available during the established quarantine. For more information on changes to this evolving event please visit: http://www.gtbindians.org/pubinfo.asp. GTB members can also sign up for Nixle Alert services at the bottom of the GTB Tribal - by Jared Sonderegger, Editor Member home page.
