Gold & White 2023

Page 1

The 2023 Gold & White Honors Gala was an evening of inspiration, celebration, and a renewal of the Georgia Tech spirit as alumni, students, faculty, and friends gathered to pay tribute to the evening’s honorees.

The Gala is the Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s premier annual event. It brings together the Atlanta business community and the Georgia Tech community to raise funds for Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s three nationally acclaimed student programs and to celebrate the impact Georgia Tech graduates have on Atlanta, the state of Georgia, and the world.

As the primary fundraiser for the Student Alumni Association, the Georgia Tech Student Foundation, and the Student Ambassadors this event ensures that these vital programs will have the necessary dollars to continue to help prepare Georgia Tech students for the challenges that will face them after graduation.

“Our student organizations equip Georgia Tech students with a broad set of skills and experiences that are widely sought after by many of the nation’s top employers,” said Dene Sheheane, Mgt 91, president of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.

Through the generosity of our 24 corporate sponsors, individual ticket sales and live auction proceeds, the evening raised more than $459,000 to support these dynamic student programs.
