GOING ALL THE WAY OUR ATHLETIC TEAMS RUN ON PRIDE Fielding 16 varsity teams in the NCAA’s Division I, the Panthers battle in the Sun Belt Conference. We acquired legendary Turner Field (former home of the Atlanta Braves and the 1996 Summer Olympics) in 2017 and transformed it into Center Parc Stadium, the new home turf for the Panthers football team. In the coming years, we’ll also debut a brand-new baseball park and convocation center.

WIL LUTZ (B.S. ’17, 40 UNDER 40) GRIDIRON GLORY A determined walk-on, Wil Lutz kicked his first 50-plus yard field goal — a Panther football-record 53-yarder — against No. 1 Alabama his sophomore year. As a junior, he became the team’s punter. Now he’s the New Orleans Saints secret weapon and one of the NFL’s best kickers.

KALIF ROBINSON (B.A. ’17, 40 UNDER 40) THE DIPLOMAT Kalif Robinson worked multiple jobs to help pay for his undergraduate degree in economics. After graduating, he worked on Capitol Hill and then earned his master’s degree at Georgetown. Now, he’s a U.S. foreign service officer for the United States Department of State. In 2018, he represented Georgia State in the documentary “Unlikely,” which explores underrepresented students’ barriers to college graduation.

We offer a variety of scholarships for which you could be eligible. Some scholarships are offered to high-achieving students automatically upon acceptance, and some require applications. Deadlines vary.
MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS (No application required)
Apply to Georgia State by December 8, and you will be automatically considered for numerous admission-based scholarships that could net you up to $3,000. Simply apply and you’ll be notified if you’ve qualified for a scholarship upon acceptance to the university.
OUT-OF-STATE SCHOLARSHIPS (No application required) The Campus Atlanta Scholarship is an automatic meritbased scholarship that covers either all or part of the outof-state portion of tuition based on academic performance in high school.
