This audiovisual animation emerged from a walking journey and a series of field recordings at the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia.Through the natural sounds of the river, wind, and ruins, a multisensory experience was shaped and translated into a layered digital narrative.
The animation explores:
● Landscape visualization through 2D & 3D modeling of the topography, monuments, and natural elements
● Sonification, where field recordings become generative structures, interacting with the visual data
● Spatial composition, combining walk-based diagrams, speculative architectural insertions, and photorealistic imagery

This multi-layered audiovisual piece explores the dynamics of surveillance in contemporary public space. At the core of the work lies a shifting game of perception and power:the subject follows the movements of another individual, while simultaneously becoming the object of observation by a third, unseen observer.
Through the act of walking, the video unveils the multiplicity of narratives that emerge within the urban environment — shaped by the tension between visibility and invisibility, intimacy and exposure. It initiates a dialogue around personal freedom and the subtle erosion of privacy in everyday life.
The viewer is drawn into this tension, invited to reflect: Who watcheswhom?Andwhendoesthesenseofcontrolbeginto vanish?
Aesthetically positioned between the real and the suggestive, the work offers open-ended interpretations of surveillance as a persistent and evolving condition of urban existence.

This animation presents the core proposal of my diploma thesis:a spatial reconfiguration of the Faliro Delta Marina, aiming to connect two major landmarks — Plateia Nerou and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
The design approach is inspired by the concept of musical counterpoint, where static and dynamic architectural elements coexist in continuous dialogue. The“static line” is represented by the abandoned Olympic facilities of 2004, while the “moving line” emerges through a series of proposed music workshops forming a wave-like structure across the site.
The architectural composition blends educational, exhibition, and cultural spaces with ephemeral sonic interventions, enhancing the visitor’s sensory experience. The animation visualizes this spatial synthesis, where the existing and the proposed are connected through an elevated promenade, linking the neighboring municipalities. The sound of sea waves is used as an audio backdrop, emphasizing the project’s relation to the coastline and reinforcing the relationship between sound, space, and movement.

This audiovisual piece functions as a mapping of the fractal structure of the open-air market in Eleonas — a landscape unfoldingthroughasetofabstractgeometriesthatresembleboth shapes and memories. As the video progresses, we begin by witnessing what seems to be a literal map.Gradually, the fractal forms become more complex, reflecting the layered nature of memoryandthediverse,ever-changingcharacterofthebazaar.

The mapping shifts away from physical space to become a symbolic cartography — an attempt to represent how lived experience and narrative interlace in this particular urban territory.
In a second movement, the sonic narration functions as a reflective gesture, bridging the personal with the collective memory of the site.Through this fusion of image and sound, the workoffersamultilayeredreadingoftheurbanfabric, invitingthe viewer to explore their own relation to the city and its memoryscape.

This video piece explores the personal and symbolic dimensions of femininity through a poetic narrative of transformation, fragmentation, and reconstitution. It investigates the interplay between loss and recovery, presence and absence, body and mind, representation and performance — reflecting the shifting nature of identity as an ongoing, transformative process.
The audiovisual language of the work draws on mirror metaphors and internal monologue, where symbolic oppositions dissolve. The female figure ceases to exist as a singular symbol, revealing instead an identity shaped by perpetual metamorphosis.
“Lost Identity” is not the absence of self, but rather the very act of searching — an unfolding self in flux, always becoming. Through image and sound, the work traces this movement, offering an intimate choreography of vulnerability, strength, and multiplicity.

The work StargazingtheCity, positioned at the threshold between documentary and short film, draws inspiration from the sensation of observation and distance — much like the experience of gazing at the stars in the sky.

By combining video and still images as a dialectic of experiencing urban time and space, the work examines our relationship with the city as an impersonal yet deeply connected“magnetic” field. The narration, delivered throughAI-generated voice, reinforces this sense of alienation while simultaneously highlighting a shared interaction.
Just as walking through the city becomes a mechanism of connection,“stargazing”within the urban landscape reveals hidden narratives and subtle relationships that imperceptibly link us in an invisible network of shared experience.
Through the experience of walking,it is revealed how this mechanism connects us with one another — like an invisible force guiding our lives in a common, interwoven trajectory, even though we remain strangers to one another.

ChangingMovementsis a concept created for the Open House Athens 2024,stemming from a deep exploration of inclusion and visibility within the urban fabric. The video becomes the main medium of storytelling, where the architectural“wonders” of the city are carefully juxtaposed with their complex human narratives, in harmony with the continuous rhythm of urban life.
The title does not merely serve as a descriptive term, but as a thematic anchor — symbolizing the symbiotic relationship between inclusion, visibility, and the dynamic essence of the city.It emphasizes the belief that true harmony arises from the conscious integration of diverse perspectives and the clear acknowledgment of every individual’s presence and contribution.
Through this holistic visual experience, each viewer is invited to engage deeply with the ever-shifting nature of our urban spaces.By highlighting the colorful mosaic of stories embedded within our built environment,Open House and its architectural lens act as a catalyst for collective reflection on interconnection and the mutual interdependence of our communities.

FadingReflectionsis an interdisciplinary audiovisual work that explores the notion of identity and the effect of time upon it, through a sequence of self-portraits (selfies) and original ambient sound. The artist constructs a dialogue between image and sound, drawing from personal experience to express the disintegration of memory and self.
Through the use of glitch techniques and repetitive sequences of photographs, time appears distorted, producing a sense of alteration and loss. The piece serves as a reflection on how human identity becomes fluid and uncertain,as the mirror of self-image distorts with the passage of time — and thought.
The work incorporates voice, movement, and sound, with the creator embodying the roles of performer, photographer, and composer. It interprets the interactions between sensory experience and emotional state.FadingReflectionsbecomes an ongoing search for the truth of being,in a world where memories and experiences slowly fade and disappear.

Anti-Melatonin Dreams: A Mini Guide to Discomfort explores the relationship between reality and simulation through a satirical deconstruction of wellness culture. Parodying videos that promote the illusion of total control and the toxic pursuit of happiness, the work exposes the gap between fabricated narratives and the authentic — often chaotic — human experience.
With a subtly ironic tone, the piece undermines the illusion of self-mastery, drawing from the concept of simulacra: the distortion of reality through artificial images and digitally mediated stories.
Its aesthetic is grounded in the logic of the glitch — both visually and conceptually.Grid-based graphic forms clash with fluid, amorphous flows, generating a striking contrast that reveals the “cracks” in the seemingly flawless surface of simulation.
The “dreamlike” glitch acts simultaneously as a visual disruption and a philosophical metaphor. It breaks the flow, challenges the sense of order, and invites the viewer to experience reality as a sequence of ruptures and instability.Through illustration, animation, narration, and sound design, the piece constructs a distorted environment where the structured coexists with the chaotic, and the authentic with the simulated — questioning the very essence of both wellness and reality.
At its core, Anti-Melatonin Dreams poses a critical question: Could the pursuit of perfection and control be just another illusion — another layer of simulation that distances us from truth?

RiftMemoryis a 3D animation that explores trauma, memory and their digital imprint within a liminal, pseudo-dreamlike topography. The child’s corner is transformed into a distorted, fragmented space-time,where the experience of loss unfolds as a flow between an image under construction and its ghost.
The glitch does not function simply as an aesthetic tool, but as a narrative crack: memory itself “glitches” as a distorted image of potentialities. Thus, timeis experienced as digitalplasticine, space as a memory trap, the image as a fragment between sensation and digitality. The work approaches memory not as a fixed archive, but as a malleable, imaginary and digitally altered surface.
Through slow camera movements, elliptical transitions and technical image decomposition,Rift Memory proposes a reading of trauma as a "rift",where one finds oneself trapped between dream and nightmare, childhood and adulthood, memory and oblivion. In the end,six physical objects being photographed are revealed as remnants of a collapsing memory, just before the termination system with a logic of ERROR 404, which is the essence of RiftMemory.

A plant extends temporally and spatially as an organism absorbing memory. Space, time and gaze melt into a lullaby as a sensory wave of deconstruction and oblivion.Time here does not function as a linear narrative, but as an obsessive material:a mechanism that turns, returns, persists.Through the structure Disorientation – Dissociation – Dissolve, the work constitutes a loop of sensations, where the viewer does not watch time flow, but experiences it as a distorted repetition: like a memory glitch that returns in a constantly altered form.
TidalLullabylies not in the content of memory itself, but in the way it reappears, that is, through fragments, delays, glitches, loops and distortions.Time becomes a field of permanence, not of escape – a spectral landscape where memory is not represented, but happens again and again,as a sensory re-inscription of obsessive subjectivity.

SpacesofPresence,ShadowsofAbsenceis a visual exploration through photography, tracing the gradual transition from the public to the private, from urban timelessness to a more intimate search for identity.
Beginning with open, impersonal city spaces, the photobook progressively shifts into more focused images of abandonment, memory, and decay. With each chapter, the gaze zooms in — from the urban landscape to the interiority of human experience — revealing how space shapes our relation to presence, absence, and the sense of self.
The project unfolds as a visual essay that captures environments marked by emotional layering, lived traces, and spatial silence. Through light, framing, and sequencing,it constructs a quiet dramaturgy of absence, where human presence is evoked rather than shown.
"Endless Inter-Connection" explores the eternal interconnection and randomness as fundamental characteristics of existence. The cycles,as the basic elements of the work, initially move at a constant pace, but gradually incorporate unpredictable changes algorithmically, capturing the dynamics of change and interaction.Randomness does not lead to chaos, but to a form of fluid harmony, where each element is shaped by its coexistence with the others.
Sonically, the work reinforces the idea of constant connection,as the rhythm of the sound changes algorithmically based on movement, creating a living field of interaction. The color changes and the alternation of sizes highlight the constant flow and transformation. Endless Inter-Connection functions as an aesthetic experience, where the reality of interaction and randomness is translated into an audiovisual continuum, proposing a holistic view of connectivity.

"Scratch Desire" is an interactive experience that explores the notions of desire, collection, and revelation. You begin with a hidden grid that gradually unfolds as your mouse leaves its trace. Moving circles—multiplying and accelerating—invite you to collect them, while the shifting background and evolving soundscape create an ever-changing environment of challenge and transformation.
But what is desire if not an endless simulation of the need for more? Each new level, each collected element, is an invitation to keep going—to push beyond limits, to uncover the unknown, to move forward.
And somewhere between the journey and the goal, you might realize that what you were searching for was never completion, but the very process of discovery itself.

“ Scenographic Proposal: TheLonesomeWestby Martin McDonagh”
Year: 2023

Technical specifications:

This scenographic proposal is based on TheLonesomeWest,a darkly comic play by Martin McDonagh. The design centers on the domestic space in which all dramatic tension unfolds — a seemingly ordinary Irish living room that gradually reveals psychological and emotional fragmentation.

4 basic color“analysis” of the 4 main characters of the plot

The stage is structured through a strict frontal composition, divided into four symbolic zones. This division reflects the play’s themes of separation, tension, and absurd coexistence. The fireplace — central in both the space and the drama — functions as the gravitational core of the scenography.
Through detailed 3D modeling,floor plans,and material studies,the proposal explores:
● Spatial isolation and conflict within domesticity
● The relationship between symmetry and imbalance
● The layering of symbolic elements through furniture, color, and textures
The palette draws from Celtic visual culture, rural Irish interiors, and specific iconographic references, such as the art of Paul Henry and traditional folk textiles. The emotional palette is carefully encoded into the chromatic scheme:four key tones correspond to four emotional states — decay, inertia, repression, and tension.
The proposal combines visual storytelling and spatial rhythm, offering a scenographic reading of McDonagh’s world where the absurd, the tragic, and the intimate converge.
“Costume Design Proposal: Puck – AMidsummerNight’sDreambyW. Shakespeare”
Year: 2023
Created for the 2ndYear Performance at theAthens Conservatory, staged at the Megaron –Athens Concert Hall
Credits: Gina Stavropoulou (also as a performer)
Key features:
– Modular costume combining stitched and unstitched elements
– Natural textures (burlap, gold tones, white gauze)
– Hand-drawn costume planning
– Sculptural mask with folded geometry
– Emotional and symbolic chromatic palette

This costume design was developed for the character of Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, combining myth, irony, and transformation. The aim was to reinterpret Puck not as a whimsical fairy, but as a being born of the earth — wild, elusive, and deeply rooted in nature.
The design was based on the image of a creature that emerges from the soil and organic textures of the forest. It incorporates natural tones and lightweight materials (such as burlap and gauze) to create a sense of movement, ambiguity, and performative freedom. The mask was constructed with folded paper and minimal structure, referencing animal forms and archetypal symbols.
Visually, the costume sits between animal and human, mask and body, innocence and mischief. It plays with contradiction, evoking both fragility and rawness. The design was used in both rehearsal and live performance.

This research investigates the relationship between architecture and music as an expression of the dialectic between space and time.
Time is examined as temporality, and space as spatiality — both placed within a shared field of structure and experience.Through the analysis, a common structural logic is revealed: time operates as a compositional element, while space emerges as the result of temporal processes.
The notion of structure — intrinsically linked to the functioning of the human brain — unites the spatial and temporal dimensions experienced through both architecture and music.
In music, spatiality is connected to cognition. In architecture, the moving body renders temporality perceptible — and thus makes spatiality itself intelligible.

This research approaches the city as both a living organism and a performative field — a dynamic space shaped by the everyday practices of its inhabitants, the symbolic dimensions of urban design, and the passage of time.
Emphasizing walking as an artistic, spatial, and social act, the thesis explores how bodily presence and daily repetition construct an ever-evolving urban script. Streets become minimal stages, gestures become performative codes, and the language of the city — both literal and spatial — emerges as a framework for interpreting and reconfiguring urban experience.
Bringing together theoretical tools from sociology, psychoanalysis, linguistics, performance studies, and architecture, the study also includes personal documentation and artistic references, constructing a layered framework of thought around the city’s performativity and its symbolic landscapes.
