aye has been a Girl Scout and volunteer for more than 36 years. Although her daughters are no longer in Girl Scouts, she continues to lend her time and heart to the organization. She has served in so many areas, currently as a Troop Leader and in multiple positions for the Royal Palm Service Unit. She is full of information and ideas and is always willing to go the extra mile. Faye started our CSA program. She also teaches the girls how to sew and make feel-good items for people in need. She is also the Royal Palm Camporee chair and works with the girls to plan the Camporee. She has a special way of working with the girls, and they love attending her meetings and events. She's an inspiration to us all. Royal Palm's success is with the help of this outstanding volunteer!

hen asked why Tami makes time to volunteer with GSSEF, she says, “It’s always important to be investing in something that is making a positive influence.” She marvels at how much her Girl Scout experience helped form her. More than anything, she remembers her Cadette Troop Leader, Pat Lee, and the impact she had on her life. Tami says, “More than anything I wish I could talk to her and say thank you … and let her see that I turned out alright.” Like most adult members, Tami knows that we offer the most important financial literacy program in the world - the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program. She knows that those business lessons learned selling cookies have truly helped her manage her business and household finances today.
