THE COMMUNION OF THE PEOPLE

WORSHIP VOLUNTEERS

COMMUNION ANTHEM

In Remembrance

Courtney/Red/Greer

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION unison Strengthen, O Lord, the hands which have been stretched out to receive holy things, that they may daily bring forth fruit to your divine glory. Grant that the ears which have heard your songs may be closed to the voices of dispute; that the eyes which have seen your great love may also behold your blessed hope; that the tongues which have uttered your praise may speak the truth; that the feet which have walked in your courts may walk in the pathway of light; that the souls and bodies which have fed upon your living body may be restored to newness of life. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. SENDING CHARGE AND BLESSING HYMN 265 Jesus Shall Reign

SERMON

Can or Cannot Be Moved

AZMON

Bligh Jones

Heavenly Father, we lower our heads before you and we confess that we have too often forgotten that we are yours. Sometimes we carry on our lives as if there was no God and we fall short of being a credible witness to you. For these things we ask your forgiveness and we also ask for your strength. Give us clear minds and open hearts so we may witness to you in our world. Remind us to be who you would have us to be regardless of what we are doing or who we are with. Hold us to you and build our relationship with you and with those you have given us.

And also with you.
