Known as the mother of Presbyterianism in southern Alabama, GSPC was founded in 1831. Worship has continued on this site since 1836 when the sanctuary, a National Historic Landmark, was completed. Member PC (USA).

The Ugandan Kids Choir will present a concert on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4 | 6:30 p.m.

GSPC will provide housing to the group during their stay.

God of grace and God of glory, we live in difficult times. We confess that we do not ask for the help of others—to pray for us. We do not seek the wisdom of older people—to advise us. Worst of all, we do not seek your power—to uphold us. In your great mercy, forgive us.

Love that demands a lot, but at the same time, somehow, amazingly, enables us to meet those demands. Love that reassures, affirms, prompts, challenges, and overwhelms us with the completeness of its response.
