A native of Newbern, Alabama, he has served three different churches in the Presbytery of South Alabama since 1978 and one other PCUSA Church in West Virginia prior to moving to our area. He retired in 2012 from Spanish Fort Presbyterian and now resides in Daphne, along with his wife Carolyn. They have two sons: David, a university professor in Siena, Italy, and Claiborne, an attorney in Albany, NY. Since retiring, Julian's interests are being active as a Baldwin County Master Gardener, cooking, and enjoying conservation and outdoor activities on family land in the Black Belt.
