It is our hope that this Service of Remembrance provides a sense of peace to anyone who struggles during the holidays. We know all too well how difficult it can be to find the holiday spirit when in fact we grieve the loss of loved ones. This season is a time full of heart-tugging emotions. Christmas arrives near the winter solstice, the longest night of the year. That darkness can permeate our lives due to our losses when everyone else seems to be celebrating. On this evening we will hear some scripture and music and be given the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one(s). Please join us for a special time to surround ourselves in God’s peace and love.
