Girl Scout Week 2021: A Week of Excitement and Fun Learning

𝐁𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐒 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐃𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐳𝐦𝐚𝐧

The Caloocan City Girl Scouts Council celebrated another Girl Scout week with exciting and fun-filled activities! It was once again held virtually due to the pandemic last September 19 - 25, 2021. The week-long celebration aimed to commemorate the birthday of Girl Scouts of the Philippines founder, Josefa Llanes Escoda, along with everyone who made the Girl Scouting Movement standing strong for 8-decade long.

Aside from the fun-filled online activities organized by the National Girl Leaders, the Caloocan City Council Senior and Cadet Planning Board initiated activities for the girls with the theme: Walking Together, Walking Far.

The week-long activities were: Thanksgiving day, Founder day, Partnership and Community day, Troop Leader’s day, Environment day, Girl’s day, and lastly, the Family day. These activities aimed to bring out the girl’s full potential to be ready in leading the nation-building. Aside from it, an Josefa Llanes Escoda Online Conference that garnered almost 500 participants was organized.
