Girl Scout Week 2021: A Week of Excitement and Fun Learning

The Caloocan City Girl Scouts Council celebrated another Girl Scout week with exciting and fun-filled activities! It was once again held virtually due to the pandemic last September 19 - 25, 2021. The week-long celebration aimed to commemorate the birthday of Girl Scouts of the Philippines founder, Josefa Llanes Escoda, along with everyone who made the Girl Scouting Movement standing strong for 8-decade long.

Aside from the fun-filled online activities organized by the National Girl Leaders, the Caloocan City Council Senior and Cadet Planning Board initiated activities for the girls with the theme: Walking Together, Walking Far.

The week-long activities were: Thanksgiving day, Founder day, Partnership and Community day, Troop Leaderโ€™s day, Environment day, Girlโ€™s day, and lastly, the Family day. These activities aimed to bring out the girlโ€™s full potential to be ready in leading the nation-building. Aside from it, an Josefa Llanes Escoda Online Conference that garnered almost 500 participants was organized.
