It’s time to renew for another amazing year!
When you renew your Girl Scout membership, you’re unlocking a year full of experiences, friendships, and opportunities to grow. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the adventures coming in the year ahead.
Girl Scouts: Where Adventure Grows!
• Girl Scout Signature Events. These councilwide events bring hundreds of Girl Scouts and families together for unforgettable experiences.
• Fall Outdoor Celebration (October 3 @ Camp Birch Trails). Imagine campfires, outdoor adventures, and Girl Scouts gathering from across our council to celebrate the season. Troops and families can enjoy outdoor activities, camp traditions, new friendships, and make lasting memories.
• Girl Scout Collaborative Events. Hands-on programs for Girl Scouts in grades K-12 to explore new interests, try new skills, and often earn badges along the way.
• Girl Scout Days. Special Girl Scout outings with discounted tickets to sporting events, performances, museums, and attractions throughout our council.
• Camp Adventures. Camp is one of the most magical parts of being a Girl Scout. Whether for a day or a full session, girls build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships. Get ready to climb, balance, and soar! Girls can challenge themselves on our exciting new high ropes course at Camp Birch Trails through camp programs, adventure days, and special on-the-go experiences. Perfect for teamwork and problem-solving, our new low ropes course at the East Girl Scout Center helps girls build confidence as they work together to tackle fun challenges.
• Support on the Go + Adventures on the Go. A new way to bring outdoor experiences directly to your troop. Our outdoor expert-led programs make it easy to explore nature.

• Scan the QR code to update your troop meeting details with next year’s school information.
Follow these steps and get the year off to a great start!
1. Talk to your Girl Scout families to see who is returning and if any of their information (address, phone, email, school, etc.) has changed. Gather changes so you can update them in the system.
2. Log in to your MyGS online community with your username (email address) and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, select ‘Forgot Password’ and follow the directions to reset it.
3. Click on the ‘My Troops’ tab on the left side of the screen, then click the troop number of the troop you want to renew.
4. Renew the girls and adults in your troop who plan to participate next year. When renewing adults in your troop, you will also need to select the box indicating their role.
5. Update any information that has changed, such as phone numbers or addresses. If a girl is attending a different school next year, please make that change. Do not click the ‘Use my primary address’ box, or it will show the girl’s address as the same as the leader’s.
6. Add payment.
• If possible, please use troop funds to cover membership fees. This is a great way to thank everyone for great teamwork during the year.
• If you have girls who will be receiving the membership reward from this year’s cookie program: In late April, leaders and parents of girls who earned this reward will receive an email with instructions and a promo code to use for online membership registration. The promo code is only for girls who earned the reward during the 2026 cookie program.
• If you have girls or adult volunteers in need of financial assistance, limited funds are available. The request must be made by the parent/caregiver or adult member requesting assistance.
• Please note that financial assistance should only be requested if the troop doesn’t have the resources to pay for renewals and if parents/caregivers request it. Please help us use our resources wisely so financial assistance is accessible to those who need it most.
7. Review cart. On the review screen, you can edit details and accept the Promise and Law.
8. Submit payment. Finish the transaction for all members in your cart. A confirmation screen will pop up, and a receipt will be sent to your email address.

Girls in our community are waiting for a troop, and leaders like you make it possible. Recruit a new troop leader by July 31, 2026, who registers, completes onboarding, and starts a troop, and you’ll both receive a special “Where Leadership Grows” sweatshirt as a thank-you! New troop leaders can also receive free first-year membership and experience boxes filled with meeting supplies for Daisy, Brownie, or Junior troops. More exciting details are coming soon!
