Oct. 2 - Dec. 3, 2025 Our Fall Product Program helps you learn valuable business skills while raising funds to support troop activities. Your customers can support you and your troop with a purchase of magazines, nuts, candies, Tervis Tumblers, Bark Boxes, candles, and personalized stationery this season.

You can participate in the Fall Product Program by creating your own online shop (M2 Digital Storefront) where you can upload photos and videos, and create your very own custom Avatar.

The 2025 Fall Product Program will begin on Oct. 2, 2025.

Troop & Service Unit Camping Girl Scout Troops & Service Units: Spend a night or weekend with your troop(s) at our Jockey Hollow or Lake Rickabear properties.

Each camp has unique offerings. Camping together is a great way to learn about the outdoors and bond with your fellow Girl Scouts! Service Unit encampments can be held at either property (with capacities ranging from 150 to 300 participants). Food service is available for groups of 25 or more. Enjoy activities by day and spend the night in cabins, yurts, or tents. You can even conduct your Girl Scout bridging ceremony on one of our camp bridges. Reservations are required. Girl Scouts Unite: DreamLab & Convention Girl Scout DreamLab & Washington, D.C. Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors (Grades 4–12 in Summer 2026), get ready for an unforgettable Girl Scout experience that combines adventure, leadership, and national celebration!

Girl Scouts Unite: DreamLab & Convention begins with a dynamic 2-day workshop at the Girl Scout DreamLab in Paramus (July 20–21, 2026). Learn more about the Girl Scout Movement, the National Council Session (NCS) and its voting delegates, and the governing of this global organization, as you work through sessions such as Voice to Vote, Meet a Delegate, and Explore WAGGGS World Centers.

You’ll participate in an innovation challenge and get convention ready with special prep sessions.

Then it’s off to Washington, D.C. (July 22–24) for the Girl Scouts Unite convention and the 250th anniversary of the United States. This once-every-three-years event is a rare opportunity to connect with Girl Scouts from across the country and the world.

With an estimated grand opening in spring of 2026, our Paramus Service Center location at 300 Forest Ave. will be transformed into a Girl Scout DreamLab. Our Girl Scout DreamLab will be a modern, engaging space dedicated to developing leadership, encouraging curiosity, embracing innovation, and fostering sisterhood and community.

At our DreamLab, we will offer a full range of activities that will appeal to a variety of interests including scientific experimentation, engineering, podcasting, video production, theatrical production, and creative arts. This dynamic space will include: •

Large flexible presentation and wellness space for movement, media, cultural arts, and dynamic programming.

For Girl Scout Daisies Programs for Girl Scouts in Grades K-1 Twilight Campfire Sing-a-long Oct. 10, 2025 and April 17, 2026 Jockey Hollow Camp, Mendham Nov. 14, 2025, May 29, June 12, 2026 Lake Rickabear Camp, Kinnelon Gather around the campfire (weather permitting) at camp for an evening of S’mores, songs, and Girl Scout spirit! Whether you’re new to Girl Scouts or a long-time member, our Twilight Campfire Sing-along is the perfect opportunity to learn classic campfire songs, discover new favorites, and enjoy cherished traditions together. Girl Scouts must attend with either their troop leader or an adult chaperone. Come dressed for the weather, and don’t forget to bring a water bottle, bug spray, and a flashlight for a safe and fun evening.

Apple Cider Making Nov. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, and 16, 2025 Tenafly Nature Center, Tenafly Learn how to make fresh apple cider using an old-fashioned screw press during an Apple Cider Making session at the Tenafly Nature Center. Explore the application of simple machines and learn about the history of cider making, starting from colonial times to the present. You’ll get to taste apple cider and receive a Tenafly Nature Center fun patch.

Cross the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Coco, travel to Arendelle to sing with Elsa, and meet many more wonderfully popular Disney characters in this ice skating adventure, at Prudential Center in Newark, on Jan. 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Celebrate MLK Day at the Coretta Scott King Classic Jan. 19, 2026 Prudential Center, Newark Bring your family, friends, and fellow Girl Scouts to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Coretta Scott King Classic: Women’s Basketball Doubleheader at Prudential Center in Newark. This nationally televised doubleheader will feature elite women’s college basketball programs (Game 1 at 12:00 PM: Texas Christian University vs. Ohio State University and Game 2 at 2:30 PM: Vanderbilt University vs. University of Michigan), while honoring the legacy and values of Coretta Scott King and the King family.

NEW DETAILS: The first 100 Girl Scouts to register will receive a FREE Event T-shirt (distributed at the event), and all registered Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of inspiring women leaders in sports careers in an exclusive pre-game panel presentation moderated by a woman sports executive. Dive into our Maritime Aquarium Overnight Adventure in Norwalk, CT, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by fascinating marine creatures and mammals. We’ll begin exploring with a guided tour of the aquarium and hear captivating stories about the incredible biodiversity that thrives in our oceans, lakes, and rivers. We’ll immerse ourselves in a special 4D movie experience and then get creative with a hands-on craft activity. STEM in Action: Codes, Circuits & Climate March 6, 2026 | 6:00-8:00 PM Rockaway Valley School, Booton Township Explore cybersecurity, computing, and environmental science as you earn your STEM Career Exploration Badge during STEM in Action: Codes, Circuits & Climate, at Rockaway Valley School in Booton Township.

Visit our Star Lab planetarium to learn about light pollution and discover your personal water footprint while observing an Enviroscape, a plastic model that emulates a watershed. You’ll learn to complete circuitry with Squishy Circuits conductive dough and dive into coding your own secret language with Caesar Cipher wheels. Adults who attend can choose to participate in an engineering challenge.

Women’s History & Leadership Experience at New Jersey Hall of Fame March 7, 2026 American Dream Mall, East Rutherford You’ll learn about the remarkable achievements of influential New Jersey women and get to meet NJHOF 2025 Inductee Mary Alice Williams, the pioneering journalist and broadcast executive who broke barriers in television news as the first female prime-time network news anchor, and NJHOF Educator of the Year Drury Thorp, the elementary school teacher who was named Montclair School District Teacher of the Year and a two-time Judy Weston Award winner. After our program, you’ll be able to stay and explore all the NJHOF exhibits.

DaVinci Science Center Overnight March 7-8, 2026 DaVinci Science Center Allentown, PA Join us for our Da Vinci Science Center Overnight at the PPL Pavilion in Allentown, PA, and enjoy all that this museum has to offer. From building circuits to creating slime, you’ll have fun learning about the science behind everything and participating in a live science show.

New York Sirens Hockey Game March 8, 2026 Prudential Center Newark, NJ Spend International Women’s Day with Girl Scouts and the New York Sirens Women’s Ice Hockey Team as they take on the Ottawa Charge at Prudential Center. This game is dedicated to women empowerment, leadership, and community, as well as honoring women in professional sports. Each ticket includes a limited-

The show features more than 75 performers from over 18 countries, all showcasing aerial stunts, acrobatics, world dance, music, comedy, and jaw-dropping thrills!

You’ll learn basic mental, verbal, and physical self-defense techniques that are easy to use to help keep you safe from danger. Courageous & Strong: Level 1 Self-defense Workshop Program on the Go Option Your troop will learn to be courageous and strong in this confidence-building beginner self-defense workshop for Girl Scout Daisies-Ambassadors.

This workshop, which is focused on personal safety training through martial arts, is taught by Fourth Degree Black Belt Instructor who has been teaching self-defense for over 30 years.

You’ll learn basic mental, verbal, and physical self-defense techniques that are easy to use to help keep you safe from danger. This is a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space.

Girl Scouts must attend with either their troop leader or an adult chaperone. Come dressed for the weather, and don’t forget to bring a water bottle, bug spray, and a flashlight for a safe and fun evening.

Space Science Researcher Program on the Go Option Girl Scout Cadettes: get a closer look at sensational stars in our traveling Star Lab Planetarium and deepen your understanding of the Sun, stars, and other objects in space. You’ll work on your Space Science Researcher badge during this two-hour program, as you construct a spinner, make a sun print, and learn how to classify the stars. Be a citizen scientist as you help to solve the problem of light pollution by using an app to report your findings. Completed badges can be purchased at our council shops.

This is a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space (a COI will need to be provided). The Star Lab can hold up to 25 people. This facilitator-led program will teach you how to drill into the tree, set up the buckets, and determine the difference between a maple tree and all others.

Girl Scout Weekend at Rocking Horse Ranch Sept. 25-27, 2026 Rocking Horse Ranch Highland, NY Spend the weekend at Rocking Horse Ranch Resort in Highland, New York, with fellow Girl Scouts mining for gems and fossils, riding an old-fashioned wagon, touring the barnyard, meeting the horses, solving riddles, and participating in a karaoke competition, and more! Bring your SWAPS to exchange with other Girl Scouts.

The Outsiders on Broadway Aug. 19, 2026 New York City, NY Enjoy a day discovering the world of theater on Broadway in New York City, when we attend the show, The Outsiders at the Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street). Enjoy a group lunch at a nearby restaurant followed by a matinee performance of The Outsiders, the critically acclaimed Broadway adaptation of the classic novel. Your time at the theater will include an exclusive hour-long moderated Q&A session with three of the show’s Broadway artists. The session will feature live performances and a candid discussion about life on Broadway, the creative process behind the show, and what it means to bring The Outsiders to the stage.

Confidence & Control: Level 2 Self-defense Workshop Program on the Go Option Your troop will learn to feel confident and in control with this advanced self-defense workshop for Girl Scout Cadettes-Ambassadors and Adults, who have completed our Level 1 self-defense workshop and are ready to advance their skills to the next level. You will learn how to respond to more serious and potentially dangerous situations with courage, confidence, and a sense of control.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. This workshop is a Program on the Go - we will come to your meeting site. This is a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space (a COI will need to be provided).

Council Con 2: Where We Grow Oct. 4, 2025 Lake Rickabear Camp, Kinnelon Service Unit Managers & Troop Leaders: Join us for GSNNJ CouncilCon 2: Where We Grow. Let’s kick off another exciting year of Girl Scouts on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. Girl Scout Service Unit Managers and Troop Leaders and their Girl Scout daughters are invited to attend. We’ll explore this year’s membership theme “Where We Grow” and discover what growth means to us—through new experiences, new friendships, and new adventures. The day will include a guest speaker, activities for adults and Girl Scouts of all ages, and delicious snacks in a beautiful setting.

Troop Camper 2 Training Oct. 14, 18, and Nov. 2, 2025 Lake Rickabear Camp, Kinnelon Girl Scout Leaders: Go camping with your troop! Take a Troop Camper 2 Training one-day session at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. One adult per troop is required to be certified to have any type of open flame indoors or outdoors during your camping trip. Learn how to prepare for a camping trip, prepare meals, and other necessary outdoor camping skills for the best camp experience.

Trailblazers Adult Training Oct. 18, 2025 and Jan. 24, and March 28, 2026 Jockey Hollow Camp, Mendham Girl Scout leaders and adult member volunteers: learn the skills needed to participate in our Trailblazers Hiking & Backpacking Group with our training session for adults.

Experienced Trailblazer leaders will teach you map reading, hike logistics, navigating trails, safety, proper clothing and footwear, food and nutrition, handling equipment, and working with Girl Scout participants.

Girl Scout Silver Award Workshop for Adults Nov. 17, 2025, April 29, 2026, July 16, and Sept. 28, 2026 Virtual Designed for parents/guardians and troop leaders of Girl Scout Cadettes, this workshop reviews the requirements and provides strategies for guiding Girl Scouts through earning the Girl Scout Silver Award.

Girl Scout Leader Retreat Jan. 24 - 25, 2026 Lake Rickabear Camp, Kinnelon Girl Scout Service Unit Managers & Troop Leaders: Join us for our Girl Scout Leader Retreat at beautiful Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon– the perfect place to connect, learn, and recharge. This valuable overnight retreat offers leaders the opportunity to build relationships, share best practices, and receive support in their roles. GSNNJ staff will lead mini-workshops on topics including badgework, volunteer training, the Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program, and council and national program activities. We’ll enjoy a winter hike, time cooking together in our scenic surroundings, and an overnight stay in the Friendship Lodge.

Girl Scout Bronze Award Workshop for Adults March 3, July 8, and Sept. 9, 2026 Virtual Designed for parents/guardians and troop leaders of Girl Scout Juniors, this workshop reviews the requirements and provides strategies for guiding Girl Scouts through earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award.

Women of Achievement Gala April 29, 2026 The Venetian, Garfield For more than 45 years, Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey has honored extraordinary women from our local community for their personal and professional accomplishments. This year, join us when we come together at the Venetian for our Women of Achievement signature fundraising gala on April 29, 2026, and pay tribute to a new group of women who are breaking barriers and making change in northern New Jersey.

Annual Meeting & Adult Recognition May 13, 2026 Royal Manor, Garfield Our council will hold its next Annual Meeting & Adult Recognition event on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, during which we will report on key business items and install new board members. Following the business portion of the event will be our Adult Recognition awards dinner for our Girl Scout Volunteers. All GSNNJ Service Units must have a representative attend the Annual Meeting (business session portion) as a voting member of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey.

Volunteers may be nominated for recognition by leaders/advisors, service unit team members, parents, or council staff. Consider nominating someone inspiring.
