Our Fall Product Program helps you learn valuable business skills while raising funds to support troop activities. Your customers can support you and your troop with a purchase of magazines, nuts, candies, Tervis Tumblers, Bark Boxes, candles, and personalized stationery this season.

Girl Scout Troops & Service Units: Spend a night or weekend with your troop(s) at our Jockey Hollow or Lake Rickabear properties. Each camp has unique offerings. Camping together is a great way to learn about the outdoors and bond with your fellow Girl Scouts! Service Unit encampments can be held at either property (with capacities ranging from 150 to 300 participants). Food service is available for groups of 25 or more. Enjoy activities by day and spend the night in cabins, yurts, or tents. You can even conduct your Girl Scout bridging ceremony on one of our camp bridges. Reservations are required. Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors (Grades 6–12 in Summer 2026), get ready for an unforgettable Girl Scout experience that combines adventure, leadership, and national celebration! Girl Scouts Unite: Convention Bound begins with a dynamic 2-day workshop at the Girl Scout DreamLab in Paramus (July 20–21, 2026). Learn more about the Girl Scout Movement, the National Council Session (NCS) and its voting delegates, and the governing of this global organization, as you work through sessions such as Voice to Vote, Meet a Delegate, and Explore WAGGGS World Centers. You’ll participate in an innovation challenge and get convention ready with special prep sessions.
Then it’s off to Washington, D.C. (July 22–24) for the Girl Scouts Unite convention and the 250th anniversary of the United States. This once-every-three-years event is a rare opportunity to connect with Girl Scouts from across the country and the world.

Following the success of its inaugural showcase, the Coretta Scott King Classic returns for its second year to highlight women’s college basketball while honoring the legacy and values of Coretta Scott King and the King family. This year’s doubleheader will feature a new roster of elite women’s college basketball programs (Game 1 at 12:00 PM: Texas Christian University vs. Ohio State University and Game 2 at 2:30 PM: Vanderbilt University vs. University of Michigan).
The Coretta Scott King Classic is not just a basketball event—it is a movement that celebrates leadership, equality, education, and empowerment through sport. The day will include community activations, youth engagement programming, and more, reflecting the enduring legacy of Mrs. King. In addition, Girl Scouts will participate in exclusive behindthe-scenes event opportunities and hear from inspiring women leaders in sports careers.

Discover how maple syrup is made and experience the maple sugaring process with all your senses during a Maple Sugaring session at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. Our Hot Chocolate Bar will be available to warm everyone up! This event is open to Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scout family members, and children under age 3 attend for free. Get a closer look at sensational stars in our traveling Star Lab Planetarium, which will bring them right to you! This STEM program helps Girl Scouts earn the following badges: Girl Scout Daisy Space Science Explorer badge (all steps), Girl Scout Brownie Space Science Adventurer Badge (Steps 1, 2, 3 & 4), Girl Scout Juniors Space Science Investigator badge (Steps 1, 2 & 4). Your troop will learn to be courageous and strong in this confidence-building beginner self-defense workshop for Girl Scout Daisies-Ambassadors. This workshop, which is focused on personal safety training through martial arts, is taught by Fourth Degree Black Belt Instructor who has been teaching self-defense for over 30 years. You’ll learn basic mental, verbal, and physical self-defense techniques that are easy to use to help keep you safe from danger. This is a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space.

Following the success of its inaugural showcase, the Coretta Scott King Classic returns for its second year to highlight women’s college basketball while honoring the legacy and values of Coretta Scott King and the King family. This year’s doubleheader will feature a new roster of elite women’s college basketball programs (Game 1 at 12:00 PM: Texas Christian University vs. Ohio State University and Game 2 at 2:30 PM: Vanderbilt University vs. University of Michigan).
The Coretta Scott King Classic is not just a basketball event—it is a movement that celebrates leadership, equality, education, and empowerment through sport. The day will include community activations, youth engagement programming, and more, reflecting the enduring legacy of Mrs. King. In addition, Girl Scouts will participate in exclusive behindthe-scenes event opportunities and hear from inspiring women leaders in sports careers.

During this overnight camping experience, you’ll begin your design journey by learning how to sketch your own outfit and make creative choices in color, fabric, and pattern. Under the guidance of a professional seamstress, you’ll learn basic hand sewing techniques and how to create a simple pattern to cut your fabric. On Saturday, we’ll put on a fashion show to showcase all the designs and share the stories behind their inspiration.

Discover how maple syrup is made and experience the maple sugaring process with all your senses during a Maple Sugaring session at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. Maple sugaring is the traditional process of collecting sap from maple trees and boiling it to produce maple syrup. Bring a troop or your family for a fun and educational day outdoors. Our Hot Chocolate Bar will be available to warm everyone up! This event is open to Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scout family members, and children under age 3 attend for free. Your troop will learn to be courageous and strong in this confidence-building beginner self-defense workshop for Girl Scout Daisies-Ambassadors. This workshop, which is focused on personal safety training through martial arts, is taught by Fourth Degree Black Belt Instructor who has been teaching self-defense for over 30 years. You’ll learn basic mental, verbal, and physical self-defense techniques that are easy to use to help keep you safe from danger. Following the success of its inaugural showcase, the Coretta Scott King Classic returns for its second year to highlight women’s college basketball while honoring the legacy and values of Coretta Scott King and the King family. This year’s doubleheader will feature a new roster of elite women’s college basketball programs (Game 1 at 12:00 PM: Texas Christian University vs. Ohio State University and Game 2 at 2:30 PM: Vanderbilt University vs. University of Michigan).
The Coretta Scott King Classic is not just a basketball event—it is a movement that celebrates leadership, equality, education, and empowerment through sport. The day will include community activations, youth engagement programming, and more, reflecting the enduring legacy of Mrs. King. In addition, Girl Scouts will participate in exclusive behindthe-scenes event opportunities and hear from inspiring women leaders in sports careers.

This facilitator-led program will teach you how to drill into the tree, set up the buckets, and determine the difference between a maple tree and all others. Girl Scouts will work towards earning Girl Scout Trees Badge (Cadettes), Eco Explorer Badge (Seniors) or Trail Adventure Badge (Ambassadors).

Discover how maple syrup is made and experience the maple sugaring process with all your senses during a Maple Sugaring session at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. Our Hot Chocolate Bar will be available to warm everyone up! This event is open to Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scout family members, and children under age 3 attend for free. Girl Scouts Unite: Convention Bound begins with a dynamic 2-day workshop at the Girl Scout DreamLab in Paramus (July 20–21, 2026). Learn more about the Girl Scout Movement, the National Council Session (NCS) and its voting delegates, and the governing of this global organization, as you work through sessions such as Voice to Vote, Meet a Delegate, and Explore WAGGGS World Centers. You’ll participate in an innovation challenge and get convention ready with special prep sessions.
Then it’s off to Washington, D.C. (July 22–24) for the Girl Scouts Unite convention and the 250th anniversary of the United States. This onceevery-three-years event is a rare opportunity to connect with Girl Scouts from across the country and the world.
Program on the Go Option
Girl Scout Cadettes: get a closer look at sensational stars in our traveling Star Lab Planetarium and deepen your understanding of the Sun, stars, and other objects in space. You’ll work on your Space Science Researcher badge during this two-hour program, as you construct a spinner, make a sun print, and learn how to classify the stars. Be a citizen scientist as you help to solve the problem of light pollution by using an app to report your findings. Completed badges can be purchased at our council shops. This is a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space (a COI will need to be provided). The Star Lab can hold up to 25 people. An indoor space of at least 25-feet by 25-feet with 12-foothigh ceilings is required along with a single AC electrical outlet (the lab cannot be set up outdoors).

Your troop will learn to feel confident and in control with this advanced self-defense workshop for Girl Scout Cadettes-Ambassadors and Adults, who have completed our Level 1 self-defense workshop and are ready to advance their skills to the next level. You will learn how to respond to more serious and potentially dangerous situations with courage, confidence, and a sense of control. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. This workshop is a Program on the Go - we will come to your meeting site. This is a Program on the Go session, which means it can be held in your troop meeting space (a COI will need to be provided).

Girl Scouts must attend with either their troop leader or an adult chaperone. Lake Rickabear Camp, Kinnelon Service Unit Managers & Troop Leaders: Join us for GSNNJ CouncilCon 2: Where We Grow. Let’s kick off another exciting year of Girl Scouts on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. Girl Scout Service Unit Managers and Troop Leaders and their Girl Scout daughters are invited to attend. We’ll explore this year’s membership theme “Where We Grow” and discover what growth means to us—through new experiences, new friendships, and new adventures. The day will include a guest speaker, activities for adults and Girl Scouts of all ages, and delicious snacks in a beautiful setting.

Girl Scout Leaders: Go camping with your troop! Take a Troop Camper 2 Training one-day session at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon. One adult per troop is required to be certified to have any type of open flame indoors or outdoors during your camping trip. Learn how to prepare for a camping trip, prepare meals, and other necessary outdoor camping skills for the best camp experience. Jockey Hollow Camp, Mendham Girl Scout leaders and adult member volunteers: learn the skills needed to participate in our Trailblazers Hiking & Backpacking Group with our training session for adults. Experienced Trailblazer leaders will teach you map reading, hike logistics, navigating trails, safety, proper clothing and footwear, food and nutrition, handling equipment, and working with Girl Scout participants.

Lake Rickabear Camp, Kinnelon Girl Scout Service Unit Managers & Troop Leaders: Join us for our Girl Scout Leader Retreat at beautiful Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon–the perfect place to connect, learn, and recharge. This valuable overnight retreat offers leaders the opportunity to build relationships, share best practices, and receive support in their roles. GSNNJ staff will lead mini-workshops on topics including badgework, volunteer training, the Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program, and council and national program activities. We’ll enjoy a winter hike, time cooking together in our scenic surroundings, and an overnight stay in the Friendship Lodge.

Our council will hold its next Annual Meeting & Adult Recognition event on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, during which we will report on key business items and install new board members. Following the business portion of the event will be our Adult Recognition awards dinner for our Girl Scout Volunteers. All GSNNJ Service Units must have a representative attend the Annual Meeting (business session portion) as a voting member of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. Volunteers may be nominated for recognition by leaders/advisors, service unit team members, parents, or council staff. Consider nominating someone inspiring.
