BODY APPRECIATION BODY APPRECIATION

Build Confidence. Practice Self-Care. Celebrate You.

The Body Appreciation badge line is all about helping girls see their bodies in a whole new way. It guides Girl Scouts to appreciate everything their bodies can do from breathing and thinking to running, dancing, and creating. Through fun, age-appropriate, and progressive activities, Girl Scouts build confidence, practice self-care, and start lifelong habits that support both physical and emotional well-being.

Girl Scouts get to move for fun, celebrate what makes them and others unique, and embrace their authentic selves. Along the way, they’ll explore how to set healthy boundaries and handle pressure from society, the media, and peers, while learning to lift others up and create a culture of kindness and respect. This badge line is available for Girl Scouts from Daisy through Ambassador (grades K–12) and comes with a Volunteer Guide that makes it easy to lead the way.

DAISY: FUN WITH MOVEMENT

Daisies will connect with their bodies through joyful movement, creativity, and play. With every skip and giggle, Daisies will grow in self-expression and discovery

BROWNIE: ME TIME

Brownies will explore how to care for themselves and make the most of their “me time”moments spent doing something kind just for them.

JUNIOR: UNIQUELY US

Juniors celebrate what makes them- and everyone around them- one of a kind and learn to appreciate their individuality without compromising themselves to others.

CADETTE: OUTSIDE THE MIRROR

Cadettes will challenge beauty myths and media messages by looking beyond the mirror to discover what truly makes them shine

SENIOR: MIND, BODY, ME

Seniors explore how their bodies and minds work together to support their well-being. Try practicing mindfulness, enjoy outdoor adventures, and reflect on movement that lifts their mood and energy.

AMBASSADOR: CHEERS TO EVERY BODY

Ambassadors celebrate their growing sense of self through personal expression and empowerment.

✔Non-Member Inclusion: Non-members, like a friend attending an event or a one-day volunteer, are also covered when participating in a Girl Scout–approved and supervised activity.

✔Comprehensive Coverage: Applies to day events, overnight trips (including camp), and international travel.

Important Reminder: Activities must have an approved TP103 and meet all Safety Activity Checkpoint Guidelines to qualify for coverage.
