“I decided to get involved as a delegate because I am inspired by the democratic process and am passionate about making Girl Scouting better by having the opportunity to influence decisions that benefit all members of my council. Further, being an effective communicator and able to facilitate and support the constructive exchange of ideas and viewpoints are talents that I possess that will enable me to influence policy. Younger Girl Scouts should know how important being a delegate for our Service Unit is and how it gives you the opportunity for a front row seat to see how our governance process works. It’s a rewarding position because you are making a change for the better, and that matters.”

One hundred percent of donations received will help enable more girls to participate in Girl Scouting regardless of background or economic status by providing financial assistance for all membership costs.

For the MY 2023/24, when you make a $10.00 donation to GSNC you will receive a Family Partnership patch. For donations of $35 or more, you will receive a second patch for “Going the Extra Mile” and the troop of your choice receives a 15% discount credit at the GSNC shop.

Meeting packets will be sent via email to all voting members on April 17. Voting will be done using Poll Everywhere and technical support sessions (virtual and live) are scheduled for April 27 and May 2.
