ACE: After School Care After School Care provides extended care for students in a nurturing, communityoriented setting. Emphasis is placed on the whole child with opportunities for social, emotional, physical, and academic development.

ACE: After School Care is offered on school days from school dismissal until close (6:00 p.m. on regular school days and 5:30 p.m. on half days). Families may register for full-time care or utilize drop-in care. Full-Time Care Recommended for families who need care an average of 3-5 days per week Little Saints - 8th Grade $975/semester (monthly payment plan of $195 in five installments available) Half-days included in cost Full-Time Care Policies: Advance registration and a minimum commitment of one semester is required to receive the full-time rate. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply the full-time rate to only select months. Drop-In Care Recommended for families who need care on an as-needed basis Little Saints - 8th Grade $25 per day on regular school days Drop-In Care Policies: Advanced registration is not required for drop-ins; however, it is strongly encouraged that families notify the Auxiliary Programs Office at adenton@gslschool.org or 901-677-2245 ahead of time so we can expect your child. Drop-in charges are automatically applied to the account on file in UltraCamp at the end of day. (Half-day preschool students may drop-in from noon until school dismissal for an additional fee of $40/day.)

ACE @ Play Packed with engaging programming, ACE @ Play provides students with a safe and fun environment on select days when students are off school. ACE @ Play offers holiday care with camp-style fun. We provide the same great care you are familiar with—just with all new themes and big activities fit for a spectacular staycation! Spots are limited in each grade to ensure ample staffing and materials for maximum fun.

Spring Break School might be out, but ACE has more fun planned. We're bringing the carnival to town and we'd love for you to join us in ACE. Get ready for carnival-themed games, arts and crafts, and so much more! March 9-13 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $55 per day or $275 for the week

Bridge Week Slide into summer with four fabulous days celebrating the school break. What better way to spend the week between school ending and summer starting than by playing with your friends, enjoying an ice cream sundae, doing summer crafts, and having fun in the sun. May 26-29 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $55 per day or $220 for the week 3

ACE @ Play Reminders Packed with engaging programming, ACE @ Play provides students with a safe and fun environment on select days when students are off school.

Registration ACE @ Play is not included in the registration for After School Care. A separate advance registration for ACE @ Play is required. There is a $10 late registration fee that begins one week prior to the session. No registrations are possible within three days prior to the start of an ACE @ Play session. Drop-ins are not offered. Lunch & Snacks Students should bring two snacks and a lunch, as the cafeteria is not open for ACE @ Play. The use of room-temperature items, ice packs, and/or thermoses is recommended, as food cannot be microwaved or refrigerated.

Enrichment offers classes after school to encourage students to explore, dive deeper into their interests, and master skills. The Spring 2026 offerings are listed below with their page number, followed by more detailed descriptions with dates and costs. All Spring 2026 offerings are open to Little Lukers to 8th Grade students.

American Girl Doll Valentine’s Day Party! Join Ms. Canon for a holiday party with your dolls! We will have a sweet treat, learn new hairstyles for our dolls, and play dress up! Bring your dolls and wear a holiday-themed shirt for this exciting event. We will celebrate Valentine’s Day with our dolls and share the love of American Girl Dolls with each other. Baking with Ms. Taylor Come and join us for this fun enrichment where each student gets to create their own sweets and personalized apron and hat with Ms. Taylor. Build a Fort Night Join us for the coziest, most exciting after school adventure! This is a high energy enrichment where imagination and teamwork take center stage. Students will design and build their own cozy forts, participate in a variety of fun and silly pillow-based games, enjoy tasty snacks, and wrap it all up with a safe, friendly pillow fight. Building Blocks Soccer Building Blocks Soccer empowers preschool-aged children through the joy of soccer, utilizing the building blocks of early childhood development. The curriculum emphasizes school-aligned thematic teachings, problem-solving, movement, and fitness activities alongside fundamental soccer instruction designed to ignite enthusiasm for the world's beautiful game, soccer! You don't need any equipment, but please remember to send children with gym shoes. Craft and Sing: K-Pop Demon Hunter Edition Join us for an epic K-Pop Demon Hunter adventure! Create your own pretend ramen bowl using colorful craft materials inspired by your favorite heroes Zoey, Mira, and Rumi! After crafting, join in a K-Pop Demon Hunter singalong featuring songs from the movie. Dance, sing, and show off your ramen creation! A perfect mix of music, creativity, and K-pop magic! Crafter’s Workshop: Minecraft Keychains Crafter’s Workshop: Minecraft Keychains is a hands-on enrichment activity where students design and create their own Minecraft-themed keychains. Using beads, shrink plastic, or foam squares, students can build pixel-style characters, tools, and blocks inspired by the game. This enrichment encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and problem-solving as students turn their Minecraft ideas into personalized keychains they can take home or trade with classmates. Creative Crafting This class is all about kids having fun while building crafting skills! Each week we'll explore a different material and crafting technique weaving, beading, wood, jewelry making, fabrics, mosaics and more! Do you Think you can Catch a Leprechaun? Join us for a magical St. Patrick’s adventure! We’ll learn about silly, sneaky leprechauns and then create our very own leprechaun trap craft. Using colors, creativity, and imagination, we’ll see if you can make a trap clever enough to catch one! Glow Painting with a Twist Students will paint fun crafts that will literally glow in the dark! As they bring their masterpieces to life with vibrant colors, they can enjoy a tasty snack and listen to their favorite tunes, making the experience even more fun and relaxing. It's the perfect combination of creativity, music, and treats-guaranteed to light up their afternoon with imagination and joy! GSL Chess Club Academy The GSL Chess Club Academy encourages problem-solving, fosters analytical skills, enhances critical thinking, and strengthens memory. Members are taught by active chess players who meet the high standards of Mid-South Chess, where “chess is an art, a science, and a sport.” All skill levels are welcome! Gymnastics FUN! Join the fun! If your Luker loves to swing, jump, balance, and flip, this is the perfect class! Explore and learn beginning skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor and practice fun stretches and aerobic warm-ups that are age-appropriate for our littlest gymnasts. Awards and a parent observation will be held on our last day of class. Gymnastics Fundamentals Learn basic skills on the floor, bars, balance beam, vault (mini-tramp), and stretching. Gymnasts develop flexibility, strength, coordination, and confidence, which promote physical and mental organization, focus, and healthy habits for the future. The student-to-teacher ratio is 8:1. Awards and a parent observation will be held on our last day of class. Heartfelt Creations with a Sprinkle of Love Design a special cookie for you and one for your special Valentine along with a special Valentine’s card. We will also create a Cupid’s Love Potion to enjoy with your cookie. This will be a fun, creative decorating experience. Intermediate Gymnastics This class is next-level fun! Whether this is your first class or you’ve been a gymnast for a while, boys and girls in 1st-4th grade can enjoy building their skills on the floor, bars, balance beam, and vault through independent practice in groups that suit their skill level. For gymnasts who are ready, we will move on from the beginning curriculum, focusing on balance beam tumbling skills, tying together bar skills into routines, and developing floor skills up to powerful round-offs, front and back walkovers, and back handsprings. We will show off for families in an award ceremony on the last day of class! Karate GSL Karate is a martial arts course influenced by Taekwondo, Kung Fu, and Karate. Pat Register, better known as Mr. Dragon, is a 6th-degree black belt who has been teaching at GSL for more than 25 years. The emphasis is on self-control, self-confidence, and self-defense. All students must have a uniform to participate. You will be charged an uniform fee of $45 on UltraCamp. There will be a karate “show-off” on March 30 (PK-JK) and March 31 (SK-4th) at 3:30 p.m. All parents are invited to attend. LEGO Club: Ultimate Builders Edition Take LEGOs to an all new level! Each week, builders will participate in fun, hands-on challenges and builds. These ultimate challenges and builds will strengthen critical thinking skills, sharpen creativity, and develop a love for all things STEAM. Little Picassos Children will express themselves through art. They will create several projects using multi-surfaces, materials, their imagination, and colorful paints. Liturgical Dance: Prayer, Praise, and Worship Students will explore sacred movement through dance of how to “embody” prayer, praise, and worship. Students will learn how to follow divinely inspired praise and worship choreography, learn the basic dance fundamentals of ballet, modern, and African dance, understand the biblical principles of sacred movement, and minister divinely inspired choreography to an audience. Attire is loose fitting (modest). Girls should wear sweatpants or loose fitting joggers and t-shirts that are below the hips. Feet will be bare. Lots of Love Do you love cookie decorating and brightening someone's day? Come join us for a one-day enrichment to decorate cookies and create Valentine’s Day crafts. Lower School Spirit Night Cheerleading Clinic Come learn some of your favorite cheers with the GSL Cheerleaders and perform them at our Lower School Spirit Night. The girls will cheer with our very own GSL Cheer Squad and perform with them at halftime. Girls can wear the GSL cheer uniform from the Spirit Shop or wear a red shirt and skirt at the performance. Mindful Moves Stretch, play, and shine with us! In this hands-on enrichment class, students will learn fun yoga poses, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques to help them focus, self-regulate, and feel their best. Through movement, games, and short reflection activities, kids will gain tools to manage big feelings, build confidence, and approach each day with calm and clarity. Mindful Moves Take a break from the chaos and learn to chill, breathe, and stay in control. In this class, you’ll flow through yoga moves, mindfulness hacks, and quick reflection exercises to help focus your mind, manage stress, and keep your cool. Walk away with real tools to tackle school, life, and big emotions—all while moving, stretching, and having fun! New Ballet Ensemble - Creative Movement Preschool children explore new movements and enhance motor skills using introductory dance concepts and rhythms. Classes are based on the celebrated BrainDance by Anne Greene Gilbert, a playful approach that uses nursery rhymes, free improvisation, and movements that align with children’s cognitive development. This class requires special attire. Girls should wear a pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. Boys should wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, and black ballet slippers. New Ballet Ensemble - Dance Styles This class continues the BrainDance approach, introducing more complex movements and rhythms. Students are introduced to basic ballet positions and follow the structure of a ballet class. This class requires special attire. NinjaKinetics by Kidokinetics NinjaKinetics by Kidokinetics is an action-packed program that builds strength, agility, balance, and confidence through ninja-style movement and obstacle challenges. Kids run, jump, climb, crawl, and navigate exciting course elements designed to improve coordination, body control, and problem-solving— all in a fun, upbeat environment. Led by trained coaches and using age-appropriate equipment, NinjaKinetics encourages perseverance, focus, and a “keep trying” mindset while keeping every athlete safely moving, exploring, and having a blast. No experience required—just energy and enthusiasm!

Pinterest Party Series: Love Bug Rock Painting Get ready for creativity, color, and kindness! Students will design and paint their very own “love bug” rocks— cute, colorful bugs that spread joy. They will learn simple painting techniques, explore fun insect-inspired designs, and then hide their finished love bugs around campus for others to discover. Pinterest Party Series:Spring Watercolor Workshop Young artists will explore simple watercolor techniques as they paint spring-themed scenes like flowers, birds, and budding nature. Through guided instruction and creative play, campers will learn how to blend colors, create texture, and bring their ideas to life. Each child will go home with their own spring masterpiece! Pinterest Party Series:Bird Feeders Students will assemble and personalize their own bird feeders with paint, decorations, and imagination. Pinterest Party Series:April Showers bring May Flowers In this hands-on enrichment, students will learn how to transform simple paper into beautiful, colorful flowers! Using folding, cutting, and shaping techniques, kids will create bouquets, blossoms, and imaginative floral designs to take home. A perfect class for budding artists who love crafting and creativity! Pottery Making We’re back! In this fun series of pottery making classes, children will learn to hand build unique pottery sculptures. The artist from Seize The Clay will instruct the children on different ways to form clay as well as work with the children to experiment on different ceramic glazing techniques. This class is always a lot of fun and it’s great for children wanting to express their artistic side. All materials are non-staining and nontoxic, so all of our creations are sure to become heirlooms that will be treasured for many years to come. Sewing Club There’s nothing like saying, “I sewed it myself!” Girls and boys will love stitching up new projects and building upon skills each week. SportsPlay by Kidokinetics SportsPlay is a playful introduction to sports where kids have fun, get exercise, and build confidence! In each class, kids are introduced to one of over 20 different sports and activities from a Kido-certified coach. Sports might include pickleball, bowling, volleyball, scoops, golf, noodles, and more. Every class includes a warm-up with an age-appropriate anatomy & physiology lesson, an introduction to fundamental skills of a new sport, challenges or games, free play, and a cool-down. Memphis Boy and Girl Choir Established in 1988 and based at Grace-St. Luke’s Church since 2021, the Memphis Boy & Girl Choir (MBGC) offers a creative, unique opportunity for children to experience benefits that only choral music can provide. Choristers (training: 1st-2nd grade boys and girls; advanced: boys 3rd grade until voice change and girls 3rd-12th grade) will participate in weekly rehearsals and learn performance skills, music theory, history, and more for singing at seasonal concerts and occasional worship services. Anchor Academy One-on-One Tutoring Tutors are GSL faculty/staff members with expertise in their teaching fields. Each tutoring session is 30 minutes or one hour in length. All after-school, on-campus tutoring for GSL students is managed through the ACE program. Luker Learning Lab

Give your student a structured time and place to focus on homework assignments three days a week. Each learning lab is proctored by a GSL faculty member and consists of up to 10 students. In this small-group setting, students receive ample guidance from teachers who have expert knowledge of the curriculum.

Enrichment Policies Schedule Enrichment classes will not meet on school half days or holidays. No credit or refund will be given for students who are registered for more than one program on a particular day or time. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure a student is not registered for overlapping classes. Prorated credits or refunds will not be given for student absences from enrichment classes. Dismissal Students attending an enrichment class will attend After School Care for no additional charge prior to the start of their enrichment class. However, students must be picked up immediately after the end of the enrichment class at the next designated carpool time. Otherwise, a $25 drop-in fee will apply to attend After School Care after the class. (See the Dismissal section to view the entire policy.) Registration Advance registration for enrichment classes is required. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis until one week before the start of the class or when spots have been filled. All registration fees must be paid in full. Cancellations must be made via email to Ariel Denton, Director of Auxiliary Programs, five business days prior to the start date in order to receive a refund (less a $15 cancellation fee). No registrations are possible within 24 hours before the start of the class. Online Policies In addition to GSL's Technology Acceptable Use Policy*, the following policies apply: The educational tools used during enrichment courses are chosen at the discretion of the camp instructor/vendor and may not coincide with the tools chosen by Grace-St. Luke’s. We ask that you cooperate with instructors/vendors in supplying your child with the materials necessary to attend enrichment services, dependent on the course. *Available in the 2025-26 Parent/Student Handbook on the MyGSL parent portal

ACE Policies All policies and procedures in GSL’s parent/student handbooks apply to ACE. The following are additional policies specific to ACE.

Registration GSL uses UltraCamp to manage all ACE registrations and billing activity. An UltraCamp account with a valid credit card on file is required to register for all ACE programs. Before registering, new families should: 1. Create an UltraCamp account 2. Add a credit card To register: 1. View upcoming sessions and select the offering your child is interested in attending 2. Proceed to checkout and pay the fee Program fees must be paid in full three days prior to the start of the program for a student to be enrolled. Registration closes a week prior to the start of the program. Program dates, times, and locations can be found in UltraCamp or in the ACE brochure. ACE reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel a program for reasons such as, but not exclusive to, insufficient enrollment or instructor illness. In the event of a cancellation by the school, a full credit will be issued to the student’s UltraCamp account. In the event of a cancellation by a family for After School Care or ACE @ Play, parents must email adenton@gslschool.org five business days prior to the start of the program in order to receive credit (less a $15 cancellation fee). If not cancelled before this time, no credit will be given. No prorated credits or refunds will be given for student absences from enrichment classes, regardless of advance notice.

Attendance Parents are asked to communicate with ACE regarding any change in your child’s attendance in ACE by calling the ACE office at 901-677-2245 or emailing adenton@gslschool.org. If a student did not attend school on a given day, then s|he is not eligible to participate in ACE activities that afternoon. No prorated credits or refunds will be given for student absences. Students must be supervised on campus at all times. Therefore, an on-campus student not checked into another program will be required to attend After School Care. If not registered for full-time After School Care, a drop-in fee will apply.

ACE Policies Dismissal ACE offers staggered dismissal times that coincide with the end of enrichment classes. Families may pick up in the carpool line at these designated times of 4:30, 5:15, or 5:45 p.m. after their child's enrichment ends. On Wednesdays, families have an additional choice to pick up at 3:00 p.m. Parents may pick up outside these hours by calling the ACE office at 901-677-2245. Students who are not registered with after care but attended for enrichment purposes must be picked up within 15 minutes of their enrichment ending. For example, if the enrichment ends at 4:30 p.m. and the student(s) are not registered with ACE, they must be picked up by 4:45 p.m. or they will be charged as a drop-in. At the Preschool, parents should pull up to the red awning in the Miss Lee’s lot. Please be prepared to buckle your child in once s|he is brought to you. In Lower School, parents should pull up to the circle driveway. In Middle School, parents should pull up to the awning next to the Middle School building on Lemaster Street. An ACE staff member will check your identification, then bring your child to you. Please be prepared to wait in your vehicle for a few minutes, as your child will need time to gather his or her items. Remain in your vehicle unless your child needs assistance getting into the vehicle and buckling. Parents with children in multiple divisions will need to go through each carpool line separately, so please plan accordingly. Students will only be released to an adult listed on the approved pick-up list. Parents may make arrangements for someone other than those listed to pick up a child by informing the ACE office in writing at adenton@gslschool.org. Anyone picking up will be asked to show valid picture identification until the staff become familiar with them. Parents with students who walk home independently in After School Care should notify the ACE office in writing in advance and include the time when the student should depart campus.

Communication Program-wide information appears in the weekly eNews. Additionally, any changes to programs will be emailed to the parent/guardians of participants.

Unless parents/guardians notify the Director of Auxiliary Programs in writing, families consent to the use, publication, and copyright by GSL of any material created by their children and of any photographs, video, and/or audio recordings in which their children may appear in programs or activities of GSL. Parents allow the usage of these materials in any of GSL’s publications and promotional materials, via print, radio, television, outdoor, internet, and social media. The foregoing consent shall extend beyond a child’s registration in this program.

ACE Policies Lunch & Snacks Students have an opportunity to eat a snack in After School Care. All students are required to bring a pre-packaged afternoon snack each day. Please send snacks in easy-to-open containers that require minimal adult assistance. Please also make sure students have a water bottle every day. During ACE @ Play, students should bring two snacks and a lunch, as the cafeteria is not open for ACE @ Play. No food can be microwaved or refrigerated, so the use of room-temperature items, ice packs, and/or thermoses is recommended.

Discipline It is expected that every student utilizing ACE adhere to the school's procedures and standards of behavior, which are located in the handbook on MyGSL. ACE reserves the right to dismiss any student from the program.

Electronics We strive to develop connections within our ACE community. To help foster these connections, personal electronics such as cell phones and tablets are not allowed. Students will be allowed to use the office phone to contact home if needed, and families are encouraged to call the office at 901-677-2245 if you need to contact your child. ACE staff may give permission for school-owned tablets or laptops to be used during closely supervised homework times.

Illness Students who are experiencing symptoms of a communicable illness or disease will be separated from the group, and the parent will be contacted immediately and asked to make arrangements to pick up the student. Expedient action to pick up the student within the hour will be required for his or her own personal care. ACE will follow GSL’s protocols for any child who is experiencing symptoms.

Late Pick-Up A late pick-up fee of $5 per minute will be charged for any student whose ride home is not waiting in the last carpool line promptly at closing time. Parents/guardians should inform the staff if they will be late by calling the office at 901-677-2245.
