Editorial Con il primo numero di Bathings, GSI inaugura il nuovo corso intrapreso e sancito dal rinnovamento della corporate image.

Una nuova veste per un’azienda che continua ad investire sui valori in cui crede e su nuove strategie di sviluppo e consolidamento. Il nuovo corso vede l’azienda fortemente concentrata nell’adozione di nuovi impianti produttivi estremamente innovativi e tecnologicamente avanzati.

With the first issue of Bathings, GSI launches the new undertaken course and the ratification of the renewal of its corporate image. A new garment for a company that continues to invest on the values in which it believes and on new strategies of development and consolidation. The new course sees the company strongly concentrated in the adoption of new productive machineries extremely innovated and technologically advanced.

HIGH PRES– SURE REVOLU– TION Un sistema di colaggio ad alta pressione rappresenta una vera rivoluzione all’interno di un’azienda ceramica: comporta la revisione dell’intero processo produttivo con il ripensamento di tutte le fasi di lavorazione a partire dalla progettazione.

Mentre il processo tradizionale risponde, anche in una produzione di tipo industriale, a logiche più vicine alla lavorazione artigianale, l’adozione degli impianti ad alta pressione introduce elementi e dinamiche che richiedono sistemi di gestione evoluti e grandi capacità imprenditoriali.

Questa tecnologia di ultima generazione, permette di monitorare e controllare ogni fase della lavorazione, permettendo di alzare ancora di più il livello qualitativo del prodotto finito.

I tre nuovi impianti entrati in funzione quest’anno negli stabilimenti GSI, rappresentano la tecnologia produttiva più avanzata per il settore ceramico oggi disponibile sul mercato.

Gli investimenti attuati dall’Azienda, sia sul piano economico che su quello della formazione del personale, uniti alla determinazione e alla volontà di fare “sempre meglio”, hanno permesso tale rivoluzione.

A casting system at high pressure represents a true revolution inside a ceramic company: it involves the revision of the entire productive process with the update of all working phases starting from the design. While the traditional process also responds to a production of industrial type and to logics closer to the handmade manufacturing, the adoption of machinery at high pressure introduces elements and issues that request systems of evolved management and high entrepreneurial capacity.

This last generation technology, allows to monitor and control every phase of processing, allowing to raise even more the qualitative level of the final product.

The new four machines which have been set this year at the GSI establishments, represent the most advanced technology for the ceramic sector which is found today available on the market.

The activated investments of the company, whether on the economical side or on the formatting of the personnel, united to the determination and will to “always do better”, have allowed such revolution.

NORM una collezione nuova

Giacometti diceva che per arrivare all’essenza delle cose bisogna togliere, togliere, togliere. Il segno nella sua essenza più pura.

L’obiettivo è stato quello di eliminare tutto il superfluo, arrivare alla purezza delle forme. Nasce così la collezione NORM, destinata ad un pubblico dal gusto evoluto che cerca una linea dalle forme semplici e regolari, priva di orpelli o segni inutili.

Si potrebbe parlare di una linea “basica” dall’inglese “basic”, essenziale.

Le forme, i rapporti dimensionali, le caratteristiche di funzionalità portano a dei prodotti sobri, forse un po’ minimalisti, che si possono sposare alle diverse esigenze di arredobagno. La declinazione nelle sei misure suggerisce l’idea di una famiglia capace di soddisfare innumerevoli esigenze di spazio e di personalizzazione. Inoltre la predisposizione per l’abbinamento con accessori e arredi rende possibile la creazione di un ambiente bagno piacevole elegante, funzionale, minimale.

Ci abbiamo lavorato tanto, è stato un lavoro di ricerca lungo per curare ogni minimo dettaglio, perché togliere è sempre più difficile che aggiungere.

We have worked a lot on this project, it has been a long work of research to cure every minimum detail, because removing is always more difficult than adding.

FREE LOSANGA Gli elementi Free-Standing della collezione Losanga The Free-Standing elements of the Losanga range

Losanga è caratterizzato da una linea geometrica romboidale, declinata con soluzioni diverse su tutta la collezione.

Questa è particolarmente ricca: 19 lavabi, installabili sia sospesi che ad appoggio oppure a semincasso. Tre coppie di wc e bidet di cui due sospese, un Wc monoblocco e sette piatti doccia a spessore ridotto, installabili anche a filo pavimento.

Ma la cosa più sorprendente della collezione Losanga è la linea di lavabi Free-Standing: da pavimento o da appoggio in due diverse altezze, con piano per la rubinetteria o, ancora più puro, a spessore costante su tutto il bordo.

Probabilmente è in questi elementi che meglio si esprime la forma nuova del sistema Losanga.

Losanga is characterized by a geometric rhomboid line, declined with different solutions on all the range. This range is particularly rich; 19 washbasins able to be installed whether wallhung, countertop or semi built-in.

Three pairs of wc and bidet from which two wall-hungs, a close coupled pan and seven shower trays with a reduced height which can also be installed at floor level.

But the most surprising thing of the Losanga range is the line of the Free-Standing washbasins which can be installed from the floor or as countertop in two different heights, with or without shelf for tap-fitting, even more pure with a constant thickness on the entire edge.

It is probably in these elements that the shape of the new Losanga system expresses itself.

Un angolo per raccontare un mondo a corner that talks about a world Il nuovo corner-shop GSI al Chiesa Store di Bergamo The new GSI’s corner-shop at Chiesa Store in Bergamo Le tinte sono un verde salvia abbinato ad un parquet in rovere naturale e un azzurro carta da zucchero con una pietra serena a pavimento.

Lo sfondo è un grigio chiaro, fresco. Tecnicamente fresco.

Sono i colori del nuovo concept-corner che GSI ha inaugurato al Chiesa Store di Bergamo. La sensazione che si ha entrandoci è quella di una calda accoglienza domestica: ci si sente un pò a casa.

Forse nella casa che vorremmo. Infatti gli ambienti sono pensati come se fossero uno spaccato di vita reale: delle sezioni di bagni dove quello che è stato “tagliato” lo possiamo immaginare dai frammenti rimasti.

E immaginado sognamo.

Questo piccolo angolo raccoglie tre suggerimenti di ambientazioni diverse. Una è un’interpretazione classico-contemporanea, un’altra vuole essere più giovane e dinamica. La terza è essenziale come potrebbe esserlo un modernissimo loft. Ma i tre ambienti raccontano soprattutto di un’azienda che non ha paura di guardare avanti e andare oltre il già visto, oltre le mode, oltre il banale. I tre ambienti raccontano il mondo GSI. The colors are sage green combined with a natural oak parquet and a powder blue with a sandstone on the floor surface. The background is a light fresh grey. Technically fresh. These are the colors of the new corner concept that GSI has launched at the Chiesa Store of Bergamo. The sensation you get when entering is of a warm cozy greeting; you feel somehow at home. Maybe the home we would like to have.

Infact the environments were fulfilled as if they were a real cutaway: bathroom sections where what has been “cut-out” can be imagined as remaining fragments. And imagining, we dream.

This small corner gathers three suggestions for different environments.

One is an interpretation of classical contemporary, another wants to be young and dynamic. The third is essential as a very modern loft could be. But all three environments mostly talk about a company that has no fear to look ahead and go beyond what is already seen, beyond the trends, and beyond the common. The three environments talk about GSI’s world.

MODO 50× 40

Tutti i lavabi della collezione Modo sono oggetti la cui struttura, ripulita del superfluo, diventa un complemento dell’estetica.

La pulizia formale e le linee curve e tese, rendono Modo di immediata fruizione ed interprete di una nuova modernità nel bagno.

La collezione, si arricchisce di un nuovo lavabo 50x40, ed un Wc e Bidet 50 sospesi, che vanno ad aggiungersi ad altri quattro lavabi e ad altre due coppie di Wc e bidet di dimensioni maggiori (una sospesa e una terra entrambe da 55cm), contribuendo a valorizzare e rendere ancora più trasversale la famiglia Modo.

All the washbasins of the Modo range are objects which structure, cleaned out from superfluous, become an aesthetic completion.

The formal neatness and stretched out and curved lines, make Modo an immediate fruition and interpreter of a new modernity of the bathroom. The collection enriches itself with a new 50x40 washbasin, and a 50 wall-hung Wc and bidet, which are added to the other four washbasins and two pairs of Wc and bidet with bigger dimensions (a wallhung and a floor wc both with a 55cm dimension), contributing in improving the Modo family and making it even more transversal.

Traccia Si tratta di un vero e proprio best seller: Traccia 50, wc e bidet sospesi. Da oggi proposti anche con il fissaggio a scomparsa, soluzione che esalta ulteriormente la particolare linea monolitica di questi prodotti. I nuovi vasi e bidet, vanno ad aggiungersi alla giĂ ricca famiglia Traccia, portando avanti la tradizione GSI di una evoluzione continua delle sue collezioni.

It has to do with a real best seller: Traccia 50, wall-hung wc and bidet. Starting from today, also suggested with hidden fixings, a solution that proclaims even more the particular monolithic line of these products. The new Wc and bidet, are added to the family already rich, Traccia, bringing ahead the GSI tradition of a continuous evolution of its collections.

The bathroom is now one of the rooms of the house where clients and designers, dedicate more and more attention. Nothing is left to chance: the space, the choice of material and finishing, the colour, the lights and furnishing.
