Dear

Friends of Girl Scouts,

What a phenomenal year it has been for Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore! As I look back on the 20242025 year, my heart is full of pride and gratitude for the girls, families, volunteers, and supporters who make our movement unstoppable. Every day, I see proof that when girls are given the opportunity, they rise—and they shine.

This year, our Girl Scouts built robots, climbed rock walls, earned highest awards, and stood up as leaders in their schools and communities. They showed us what courage looks like when they try something new, what confidence looks like when they speak up for change, and what character looks like when they serve others before themselves. These are not just moments of growth; they are the sparks of leadership that will shape the future of our communities and our world.

Thanks to you, we made those sparks possible. Your generosity opened the doors of summer camp to girls who had never been before. Your commitment ensured girls from underserved neighborhoods could join troops and discover the power of sisterhood. Your belief in our mission allowed us to deliver innovative STEAM, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement programs that prepare girls for the challenges of tomorrow.

We also deepened our work around equity, inclusion, and access— because every girl deserves the chance to be a Girl Scout. And this year proved something we’ve always known: when we remove barriers and invite girls in, they don’t just participate—they thrive.

As we look to 2026, I am more energized than ever. We will continue to expand opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and boldly champion the limitless potential of girls. With your support, we are not just preparing girls for the future—we are preparing the future itself.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, our dedicated staff, and most importantly, our Girl Scouts—thank you for believing in girls, and for walking alongside us as we build a brighter, braver tomorrow.

Yours in Girl Scouting,

As Chair of the Board of Directors, I am proud of the incredible growth and impact the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore achieved this year. Time and again, we see that when girls are given opportunities to lead, they step forward with courage, creativity, and determination.

Our Board is deeply committed to ensuring strong governance, sound stewardship, and a vision that keeps equity and access at the heart of all we do. This year, that meant expanding outreach to underserved communities, building strong partnerships to create new opportunities for growth, and supporting innovative programs that prepare girls to thrive as tomorrow’s leaders.

None of this is possible without you—our dedicated donors, volunteers, and community partners. Your belief and support fuels this movement and ensures every Girl Scout has the chance to discover her voice, and her leadership potential.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your trust and your generosity. Together, we are building a brighter future for all girls.

With gratitude,

The New Jersey Girl Report

INFORMING OUR MISSION

The New Jersey Girl Report, Fueling Her Future—a collaboration of the state’s Girl Scout councils—provides insights into girls’ well-being across Physical Health, Emotional Wellness, Social Well-Being, and Life Readiness. The data shows both challenges and potential; rising stress, social pressures, and unequal opportunities highlight the need for safe, inclusive spaces that build confidence and resilience.

At Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, we turn these findings into action—creating programs that foster leadership, character, and exploration through outdoor experiences, STEAM, and community engagement.

The report confirms what we know; when girls are supported, our whole community thrives.

Sparking Curiosity Through STEAM

“The Mobile STEAM Lab showed me I could be an engineer one day. I didn’t know I liked building things until I tried it!”

– Girl Scout Cadette, Age 11

30+ Programs Delivered 1000+ Girls Reached

At Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, we believe every girl should have the chance to explore the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). In 2025, our programs empowered girls of all ages to experiment, innovate, and imagine new possibilities for their future.

Innovation Station brings hands-on discovery directly to girls across Monmouth and Ocean counties. Whether parked at schools, community centers, or events, the lab delivers engaging activities like coding, robotics, 3D design, and environmental science—removing barriers so all girls can experience the excitement of STEAM learning.

The Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards are the highest honors in Girl Scouting—milestones of courage, confidence, and character.

This year, Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore celebrated girls who led projects tackling environmental sustainability, food insecurity, and mental health awareness—showing the power of young leaders to create lasting change.

When girls pursue these awards, they don’t just imagine a better world—they make it happen.

Learn, Lead, Succeed.

Each year, Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore brings together the next generation of changemakers for our Young Women’s Leadership Summit. This one-day program inspires, connects, and empowers high school girls as they prepare to step into college, careers, and leadership roles in their communities.

“I realized leadership doesn’t mean being the loudest person in the room. It means listening, learning, and lifting others up.”
