A Note From The Dean

Celebrating the success of our outstanding faculty and staff is a critical aspect of our college culture. The annual COSM Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards recognize and celebrate the very best of the College of Science and Mathematics in six important areas - teaching, research, service, collaboration, and inclusive excellence as well as excellence in our staff. The COSM Awards website recognizes more than 20 years of award recipients in the College.

In this special issue of the COSM Weekly, we continue to showcase and celebrate the 2024 COSM Excellence Award recipients. In the following pages, each recipient is highlighted with information about their work that the Awards Committee has indicated as being the best in their respective areas.

Each recipient will receive a plaque and a monetary award of $500 for travel or supplies. Please join me in congratulating each of the recipients! Congratulations!!
