Since joining Military Science in 2010, Allison has been an essential part of the team, managing administrative operations, course registration, credit evaluations, ROTC housing, and even serving as the department's photographer and social media manager She also advises the ROTC Cadet Association and has coordinated the Eagle Battalion’s annual Freedom Run 5K/10K one of the area’s largestraces—forthepast11years
A proud Georgia Southern alumna, Allison’s dedication to student success and community engagement is unmatched. Her impressive list of accolades includes two Department of the Army Commander’s Awards for Public Service, the 2016-2017 Staff Merit Award, and the 2022-2023 University AwardofExcellenceforCommunityEngagement.

Dr. Mondor’s academic journey began at Brandon University, where he earned his BSc in Psychology with a minor in Botany He went on to complete his MSc in Zoology at the University of Alberta and his PhD in Biology at Simon Fraser University, focusing his research on insect behavior Before joining Georgia Southern in 2006, he completed postdoctoral work at the University of Calgary and the UniversityofWisconsin-MadisonandworkedasaJuniorEntomologistattheUniversityofHawaii
AtGeorgiaSouthern,Dr.MondorservesnotonlyasanAssociateProfessorintheDepartmentofBiology butalsoasanInstituteforHealthLogisticsandAnalytics(IHLA)FacultyFellow,aDeanofStudents(DOS) FacultyFellow,andChairoftheUniversitySystemofGeorgiaFacultyCouncil.Hehasauthorednearly40 peer-reviewed publications including work featured in the Editor’s Choice section of Science Magazine andisnotablytheonlypracticingforensicentomologistinthestateofGeorgia.

Forthepast27years,Dr.HarveyhasbeenanintegralpartofGeorgiaSouthernUniversity,teachingover 20 different courses across lectures, labs, studios, and seminars His passion for environmental sustainabilityisreflectedinhisworktoraiseawarenessofEarth’sbiodiversityandcombatthethreatof invasive species Beyond authoring 43 scientific publications, Dr Harvey blends science and art to inspireenvironmentalstewardship creatingmultiplelarge-scalemuralscelebratinglocalbiodiversity and producing over 50 biology-themed short films, several of which have earned awards and been featuredatfilmfestivalsacrossGeorgia.
Through his Invasive Species classes, Dr. Harvey led the development of a management plan for invasive species around the Biological Sciences building and sparked formal research projects with bothgraduateandundergraduatestudents.In2019,hewashonoredwiththeCenterforSustainability’s GreenEagleAward.
