NEW

  • SciVal and Scopus are Now Available! 

  • Cabells Journalytics will be added to our databases soon. Journalytics is a platform integrating verified and predatory journals, with tools for journal comparison and evaluation to enhance research impact.

  • New single sign-on for Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) access

Revised Services

  • Discover@GS has a new interface and New search techniques

  • Elsevier has sunsetted SelectedWorks. SelectedWorks profiles are no longer available. GS Scholars is now available

    • All tenure-track faculty at GS have a scholarly profile in GS Scholars

    • All Faculty are encouraged to update and enhance their profiles. Follow the Getting Started instructions on the GS Scholars Guide

  • Digital Commons has been renamed to Georgia Southern Commons

Liaison Services: 

  • Information Literacy/Research Instruction *please contact Nikki Cannon-Rech (dcannonrech@georgiasouthern.edu). The goal of information literacy instruction is designed to teach library users how to locate the information they need quickly and effectively. It typically covers the library's discipline specific databases, how to effectively use them, how to evaluate what they find, and how to properly cite and utilize those resources in an ethical way. Instruction can also cover data management, citation management systems, and a variety of other topics. Please reach out and let's discuss what your students need!

  • Help with Literature Reviews for publications or grants
