Itisourpleasuretoannouncetheresultsofthe2023COSMResearchExcellenceRecognitionprogram. Working closely with the Faculty Research Council, we identified five lifetime achievement categories and four annual achievement categories to recognize and celebrate the outstanding research accomplishments of our faculty. The faculty identified during this process will be recognized at the COSM Summer Research Showcase in July as well as receive a commemorative certificate and coin (moreonthecoinslater)
Congratulations to the faculty whose accomplishments are recognized for their lifetime accomplishments and those receiving recognition for their efforts during the 2023 calendar year!! In total, there are 98 recognitions in the nine categories with several faculty receiving more than one recognition.
The data used for the COSM Research Excellence Recognitions came from two sources. All grant data came from the Office of Research, and likely has gaps in it. Secondly, all publication data comes from the publicly shared Google Scholar profiles of COSM faculty. If you have any questions or feel like you qualifyyouforoneoftherecognitions, pleasereachouttoDeanHugginsdirectly.
