Congratulations!WehavemadeittothelastweekofclassesfortheSpringsemester.Aswewrapupthe academicyear,wearealreadyhardatworkplanningfornextyear ensuringwehavesufficientcourse offeringsforallstudents
Enrollment&AdmissionsOutlook
Thecurrentprojectionsetsatargetenrollmentof31,700studentsfortheFallsemester,whichincludes studentstransitioningtoGeorgiaSouthernfromtheEastGeorgiacampus.Currently,COSM’sadmissions funnelshowsa3–8%decreaseinapplicationsandadmitscomparedtothistimelastyear.
However,weareconsiderablyaheadinSOARregistrations:

Current(forFall2026):508studentsregistered.
Whilewestillhaveworktodotoreachlastyear’sfinaltotalof867COSMSOARregistrations,theseearly numberssuggestastrongincomingclass.Traditionally,90–95%ofstudentswhoregisterforSOARenroll inFallcourses.ThankyoutoeveryonewhoparticipatedinEaglePreview,DestinationEagleNation,letterwritingcampaigns,andourvariousotherrecruitmentactivities

Oursummerenrollmentlooksstrong:up11.8%with989COSMstudentsenrolled.Additionally,credithour productionisup14%,totaling18,543SCHforthesummer. Forthe2025–2026academicyear,COSMproduced158,496SCH(up95%comparedto2024–2025) We arenowthelargestproducerofSCHatGeorgiaSouthern,movingslightlyaheadoftheCollegeofArts andHumanities Whilegrowthishappeningacrosstheuniversity,COSM’snumbersremainwellabove theGeorgiaSouthernaverage
