Many of the Biochemistry and Chemistry professors and students recently attended the Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS) annual conference, representing GeorgiaSouthernUniversityandtheirresearch.
FacultyandstudentsfromtheDepartmentofMathematicalSciencesmadeastrongshowingatthis year’sGeorgiaMathematicsConference.Dr.HeidiEisenreichandDr.ErynMaherattendedtheevent withfiveGeorgiaSouthernstudents,wheretheyallpresentedtheirworkandconnectedwith mathematicseducatorsandprofessionalsfromacrossthestate.
WealsoextendourcongratulationstoChasenSmith,whowashonoredwiththeprestigiousJohnNeff Awardthisyear anincredibleachievementthathighlightshisdedicationtoadvancingmathematics educationinGeorgia.

2 the evolving expectations of the USG Board of Regents regarding faculty development reporting acrossallfiveareas
